I have a Razer Lycoza and i LOVE it. Not alot of "fancy dandy" shitty buttons like G15.
Just a normal keyboard with a small touch-screen at the top right for things like;
Next song, Higher Volume, Play, Stop and so on.
Oh, and u can decide if u want the whole keyboard to be illuminated or just the WASD buttons
or nothing at all.

I use a Microsoft wireless entertainment desktop 7000 keyboard when I'm sitting on my couch... it's pretty decent and compact with a bit of a notebook feel to key presses.
but fuck, [sYn] is right .. the fucking mouse just stopped working for no apparent reason a couple of weeks ago after only six months. no box, no receipt, bought as final sale from an electronics liquidator = shit out of luck. |
Yeah, I was going to buy this, but the lack of numpad keys really put me off it...

I got that timberwolf FPS board atm, the one with all the keys in a circle on the side, it's VERY nice to have in most games but fuck, you never realize how much you actualy use that numpad till you don't have it anymore

Yeah, I know. Another option was to get this keyboard and an external numpad, but it seems a bit silly...

Why? Dongles cost 5$, plus Logitech provides you with one too. |
With keystrokes flying wireless, paranoia would kill me in a year

Meh, the Wave is much more comfortable that the G15 and quality of the keys is much higher. The only good things the G15 has are the LCD and the backlit keys, which I don't need at all.
It's a funny thing, what Logitech does with its gamer products. It makes them good on one hand, i.e. performance, but on the other hand, quality, comfort and functionality wise, they take a few steps back every time. Look at G5, G7 and G9 vs. the MX1000 and MX Revolution, or G15 vs. Wave.

Heh, MX518+Wave and I'm sorted, I had a Creative Fatal1ty 1010, first gaming mouse I had, didn't really know much just wanted something that didn't suck as bad as a random Logitech mouse made 5 years ago that just barely had a wheel+middle button, that thing was so bloody loud, and a Compaq keyboard that was almost yellow, the Fatal1ty's left mouse button caved in a month after the warranty ran out so had to get something quick and the MX518 was cheap and had everything I needed, weights are great and all but I never changed them on the Fatal1ty, it was just a flashy thing to add onto the list, aslong as the thing has back, forward, and can move I'm pretty sure I can shoot things :\
