With their own custom renderer and other stuff rewritten. Although the UE2 framework is probably still in place, it can most likely not be called UE2 anymore.
Game looks kinda bland though, but it's just a small sneak peak.
The same can be said about The Witcher that was written on the NWN engine
Its been so long since I have even cared for Duke Nukem I couldn't care less if this game gets released or not. They may release the game someday and find that no one even cares anymore.
No one has cared since all the release dates were missed. Something is really fishy about the whole thing though. It is as if they released this video just get more funding for their failing company.

They read alot of forum posts to stay "grounded"? I think they mean to stay distracted.
One thing I dont get: They buy the Unreal Engine, modify the shit out of it, and are probably not even on par with the current Unreal Engine (3)? So why not just sign a contract with Epic to get engine upgrades once they come along and concentrate on the game itself?
I would enjoy a good DNF, but seriosly, how can so many mistakes lead to a good product?

OK so we get Kazooie 1 from the N64 to the XBLA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya0zEr3atQ0)and Kazooie 3 on the x360 (why didn't they ported Part 2 also ???), now Duke 3d on Xbla and Duke FOrever on x360 .... yeah it makes sense now , they want to kill off PS3
