Is it only me or is the player base in WAR even worse than in WOW? No one talks, no one helps anyone else, every single person is out for themselves.. mob stealing and general idiocy is the norm..
Is this just on the destruction side?
Also anyone got a guild they want to let me into? Due to the statement above I want to start fresh hopefully in a guild, order or destruction! Dont really mind!

well on our server, Eltharion, Destruction are pretty pathetic i agree. They outnumber us, badly, yet we own them everywhere, also badly. To give you an example, they attacked a keep , 15+ of them... i go in the keep and pour oil on them ... 15 kills ... +-. They come back, same thing again (now with more people helping to defend) we destroyed them so badly it was hilarious, borderline sad ...
And team play in general is great in order.

I'm probably gonna roll on Eltharion, I already have 2 chars on order there that I made just to check out how they look.
Anywho, anyone else notice that you get rewarded more for PvE than RvR/PvP?
So far I've leveled my With Elf to level 18 and I'm renown 15 yet the loot from PQ's and random drops/quest rewards "outstat" the renown gear. I was under the impression that this game was RvR/PvP oriented but so far the game is proving me wrong.

Well, I just might roll order since I've noticed that ALOT of people playing destro are the same morons that populated the early wow alliance servers back when back. Feels like those twats just rolled what they thought horde would roll and are now basicallly being idiots all around.
Let me give you an example, the chaos t2 scenario you get the flag from atop the big cliff thingie and then run down to pacify the trolls. So, a white lion grabs the flag and in comes a chosen from nowhere and does a knock back on him off the ledge. Problem is that there is no fall damage when you use a knock back like that meaning he actually helped order pacifying the trolls.
When I later pointed out that there is no fall damage from knock backs the dude replies "yeah, I know....but it's fun" and at that point I wanted to punch myself in the face for rolling destro. And eache passing day I'm starting to regret it more and more and will probably reroll order.
I'm thinking either of a shadow hunter, a rune priest or a a warrior priest but I can't decide which one I want to play.

I love the warrior priest.. I think I'll just roll one of those! Going to make a char on Eltharion seen as everyone has mentioned it, although it would be nice if the game would let me login! Anyone else having issues?

Man it sucks that everyone looks identical to your character. There aren't any variations in gear to distinguish you from any other Joe. That's what I love about RPG's, getting decked out but this game loves to throw the same gear with new names.

what level are you? it starts getting better after 20.
while everyone is wearing pq/quest armor there bound to look very similar once people start doing the dungeons etc there will be more variety

snoop is correct - in fact, this is true of EVERY rpg. Early on, you look pewpy and high levels you look cool.

i got a cleava that i never saw the skin of before and it looks pretty bad ass, my shoulders are more profesional looking than the rag tag crap that looks like it was forged out of a lump of shit with spikes on most orcs are wearing to

Yea, my new staff looks VERY cool, I'm a fan.
Most of my armor is pretty crappy, but I LOVE my new helm. It like sort of covers my eyes like the T6 WoW priest stuff and my robe has runes all over it. I'll post some screenshots when I get home on my desktop. Laptop runs at lowest settings

Yeah, can't they do the mainteannce like at 5 or 6am or something ? wouid be done by now surely and that would be a nice "time to go to bed" call.

I was actually in GOA last month here in Dublin for a job interview to monitor and fix WAR servers basically
Since they didn't pick me for retarded reasons I'd say you're about right.
Got a better job anyway heh

there are no forums on either of the warhammer pages, and i think thats ok. Just look at all the whining and crap on the "official" wow forums (this is imba, i am imba, nerf this, fix this, do this etcetc).
The most official forums are those at www.warhammeralliance.com (both mythic and goa representives are posting there aswell).

they are cloning the server right now ... and i call 10-12 AM hardly main time ... seriously ... peak hours are usually past 6 PM to midnight and weekends. But normal people aren't home at this time, so for fuck sake stop making a big fuzz every time. it does get kinda boring.
And Prefetian, you can respec anytime anyway , so ... But healer gives you more advantage at the beginning, because of the better survivability.
