The stutering problem (although a few our after, many legit player a reporting it not working.)
For the nod out of date problem, read this thread completly. there's varied way of getting rid of it. I'm to lazy to explain it once again.
It's possible however that getting rid of the nod problem doesn't unfreeze mossman. If that happens, try setting your computer date before 15 november, and try again. That's what worked for me.

Hey guys,
I have have this annoying thing, when i load the game and get into the game window where i choose "NEW GAME" in the background when i move my mouse cursor very strange but i can see it and it blinks all the way, should it be okay? coz i think i should see the game cursor or something, is there a fix for it?

I tried this on a PC without internet connection and win 98. I tried it with the mounted version and with the copied version. I tried installing the Ape fix, repack fix, RVL fix and HUD fix. But these fixes do not fix the problem of not being able to run the game at all 
Mnemonic solved it by using daemon tools to copy over the files from the emporio iso (had used isobuster before) but I used daemon tools straight away...
Can anyone help me? Maybe I should uninstall Daemon Tools? Is it Win98? Should I have used the newest Daemon Tools version? |
Okay, just mounted the iso with DT 3.47: when accessing the mounted iso and trying to run hl2.exe I get: "Unable to load filesystem_stdio.dll". And if I run launcher.exe I get: "Connection To Steam Servers Lost. Could Not Acquire Necessary Game Files". Again, Win98, no Internet connection, emporio original release, no crack applied.

Hey.. sorry if this is a stupid question but how do I play Half-Life 1 Source with the emporio release.... got the HUD fix and all that junk.... Half-Life 2 runs awesome..... I just want to know if there's any command line parameters to add to the shortcut like there were with counter strike... Is Half-Life 1 Source even included in the emporio release? Thanks guys!

I'm still having trouble getting Dr. Mossman into the elevator ?? Tried rolling date back, the various fixes out there, Axpi version, Emporio version... Any other ideas?

I agree that aXpi version is da best w/ thefinal patch from team aXpi which was released today! Read about this in the Half-Life.WORKING.aXpi thread.

unpack it with winrar. make all the files "not" read only. install the ape fix (client.dll) and run it with the shortcut not the exe.

maybe the single rar version already has the fixed client.dll
the version i got was in 34 rars.
kept getting steam and memory errors until i used the ape fix

Tried again and it works - very strange. Still have DT running but used the newest version. Got the AI error now but I'll use the HUD and RVL fixes for that 
Is it true that textures from the emporio original release are missing?

winrar can unpack "iso" files?

Hey, do you guys no how to select the start up 3D menu that loads? When HL2 is very first loading it displays a different pic (3D sceen) than before and would like to know what files they are so I can use the one I want. I know it changes as you get further into the game but thought I could just start a new game then reload and it would display the very first Menu pic but that didn't happen.

Open config.cfg in your hl2/cfg directory and look for the line sv_unlockedchapters "6".
Change the number to whatever level you want to see.
