The 12.4Mb file has a low res icon, which is the first sign something is wrong. Compare it with your original.

The file is packed with Nbinder, and contains several bad virus files and the proper fixed exe. It is designed to install the virus files and then run the fixed exe each time you try to run the spore exe.

If you are clever you can extract the proper exe from the dodgy patch and discard the rest, otherwise id recommend waiting for the official file.

But 22 files?
The update should be a single archive and the fix another one..

I got original scene release and it's fine, no virus and exe is 34mb after unpacking, not like that fake virus 12mb one. It's split to 22 files because it contains update and crack and DOX scene must use 5mb rars for their releases. You guys are really clueless.

Sorry to bring you bad news but Spore.Update.1.01.Cracked-BAT is a scene release and there won't be other one because that'd be a dupe.

Crack SPORE ((v1.1.0.358)).rar

9mb file, unpacks to 34.1 mb. Proper icon, seems to work ok. Have not found a virus or extra dll installs. Maybe its not a dupe but it looks like someone finally did it.

Glottis: where do you learn about scene releases and such? Ok i admit on being clueless, but its not like you can just find info easily. Which is a good thing i guess. I thought once a release was done a site like this would post the readme, yet i havnt seen one yet for BAT.

So this is a crack as opposed to the one before which was "emulated" do we still have to unplug our network cable during start up of this version?

Lol, what network cable ? Just block the game with your firewall.

Or don't, should be fine anyways.

naturally if u have the game original u don't have to unplug net connection for patches. u can go online and play it fully. the issues is only for who have the RLD

people with the RLD that don't have the game registered and can't go online have almost to block the connection with a firewall or unplug it. pathes for this game can be get only online installing the download manager and then applyed automatically similarly to steam. the offline patch of 91 mb is an other patch i guess

Stop talking complete and utter bullshit. I have RELOADED release patched with Spore.Update.1.01.Cracked-BAT and no unplugging or anything else of that kind needed.

I even tried to register an EA account just for fun, it just says : invalid cdkey, that's all. As if EA is gonna call the cop because somebody mistyped his cdkey ? Wink

That unplug thing is bullshit. It just doesn't work period. Online games that needs cdkey won't allow you to play online if you pirate them to "punish you". But that's all. Dunno why RLD even started this "don't go online" shit. Sure it doesn't work, but that's all.

@boundle : glad you bought the game really. But we don't care.

u can't register nothing with a dud key. download manager also u can't install it to get the online patches without a legit copy. anyway spore is great to play online natural it's a singleplayer MMORPG

not all. i have finded a key for stalker for example and it work online. depend of the kind of the game. this like crysis wars have an activation anyway and the key is checked online during the installation. so to play online u must have a valid key

It almost sounds as valid as "dry water"

How can MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer ONLINE Role Playing Game) be single player? ;s

Besides, Spore isn't even RPG.

online game download automatically from the EA internal database all conteins when u need to populate your worlds 'pulluting' the game with that of the others players. the game is singleplayer anyway online also. if u extinguish a race downloaded from internet it will don't be cancelled from this database or from the game of others players

i cant understand what u are saying. yes the game downloads other ppls creations to populate the world, whereas offline the worlds are populated by the relatively fewer creations that shipped with the game.

single player online..? u dont interact with anyone online, right?. do u consider that an online game?

Seriously, boundle, we (read: almost everyone but you) are (is) clear on what this game is and how it is effected by its features that require access to the internet and a legit copy, so you might just give up.

The constant new player content being downloaded has given me so much that it actually takes a while to load up. Even worse is that the other peoples content is worthless to me as I must have over 1000 housing buildings alone now and I don't have time to sort through all of them just to find the one I like best or compare them to my own just to place them on a planet that I will most likely never visit in its atmosphere level again.

Yet another annoyance in the game..
