are there any shops in the uk still selling 360's with benq drives in them, going to buy a new one on monday since the price has dropped to 130 quid for the arcade pack.

well any flashable drive cept a liteon would do really, but i thought most stock now would be benq's or liteons ( last time i looked liteons couldnt be flashed only the key read).

my old 360 has bitten the dust and i cant be bothered to try to fix it again.

Get the key, flash your old drive and give it a service, clean lens: grease the rails: clean the dust out: a small pot tweak: and then swap drives.

You can then have a nice 'Jasper-cool version' 360 with a hacked drive.. win win

Making an 'Arcade' £119.99 when you consider the £10.00 free voucher for purchases over £100 which Argos are promoting at the moment.

Cheap as chips!

You'll need a max3232 serial lead to get the key.

well £34 quid to buy one from ebay, i'll probably make one myslef but I cant be bothered at the moment.

the new one seems to run a lot cooler than my old one, that felt like a blast furnace. also i thought the new ones had the paper warranty stickers and not the silver ones or is that only on repaired xbox's.
