Can't wait. The first one rocked. This one looks more serious with regards to the graphics being less cartoonish.

i played the demo, and IMO, is one of the best 3rd person games i have played... the graphics are amazing and the combat system is awesomem i cant wait to play this...

bah... The game is a desperate attempt to make cash off of nostalgic PC geeks. They couldn't even call it PoP 2, though... they were hoping the new one would create it's own cash cow as well as picking the bones of the old one. The sad part is... it did.

Was it just me, or were the camera angles MURDER in the demo? You cant rotate the camera without going into first person?
It made it pretty unplayable for me, and the 3 friends that downloaded it.... hope they fixed it before the final.

I really enjoyed the first one but this doesn't really seem to add anything apart from a few new combat moves and PoP was never about the combat.

dude... every game is there to make cash. the problem is when companies ship the product when it's half done and that's not at all the case with pop. it's one of the most polished games i've ever seen. great grafix and not to heavy on systems, great gameplay, great animations great story! not many games have such a good story.
anyway, i don't see a problem with them releasing a second part of pop using the same engine and overal mechanics. they changed the setting and added a few combat moves and stuff like that. the game looks like it will have a different feel and acompanied with another great story i can't wait to play this game.

Imho, the demo was a definate improvement on the first POP (which i thought was a really fun game). Now that I finished HL2, I would put POP2 at the top of my action title's most wanted list right under TCOR: Escape From Butchers Bay for PC.
