Got this via EADM (Just used the key on that Chinese/English release.) and it's pretty interesting so far, not a huge difference from Crysis but certain engine changes makes it look a bit better (Most of it might just be the "ToD" setting though.) plus there's a few new textures to for example the weapons and nanosuit.
Currently on the third level and it seems a bit shorter than Crysis so far but it's more action packed though also a bit more linear. (It's still pretty open ended.)
Using a 4870x2 with resolution on 1680x1050 and everything to "Enthusiast" with a simple R_UseEdgeAA=2 (Or whatever that command was called.) to improve vegetation a bit but 2xAA isn't that demanding (1 - 2 FPS) though higher than that brings performance down quite a bit but all in all I have between 25 - 30 FPS under DX10 mode.
(Enabled automatically via Vista and with a compatible GPU, DX9 mode is said to be a bit faster and the two look pretty much the same albeit I heard motion blur still needs DX10 in order to fully work just like in Crysis albeit certain tweaks might help, most commands from Crysis still work fine in Warhead.)
EXE is still called Crysis.exe so any optimizations for the game. (NVIDIA/ATI - that profile stuff.) is taken from Crysis so I get more or less the same performance I get in that game.
(Which isn't bad considering the various graphical improvements and due to that I'd still say it's a bit more optimized even though the framerate isn't that different.)

Seems like the good old days are over, not like the old days where the game was cracked even weeks before release.
It's getting harder and harder to crack games, in the end there won't be scene releases anymore i think as secure room is getting better and better.
Oh well maybe we will se better and more pc games in the future as we start to buy them more before we test them.

if we buy games before we test them - the games will be worse more and more...because they'll be able to sell trash to us...

a lot of games that were lately cracked hat Securom 07.37.0014. I don't know if they changed something on this one ? Or the groups still do not have a real retail copy..or are still playing it ...

Maybe that's because there is no other release than the chinese one, and crackers don't want to use this one as a base for their cracks?

Those of you that are waiting for the crack and wanting to play this badly......why don't you just buy the damn game? Its not like its expensive, only 30 bucks for SP and MP.

Because I got really disappointed with first Crysis and I don't want to waste, even those 30 bucks, for the game that either will be laggish or short like hell. That is why I prefer to wait, play some cracked release, and If I like the game I'll go and buy it instantly. I have always been following this road and have never lost a penny on any crap I didn't like.

i was going to but then i decided food was more important.. crack pls..

I agree with Newty182... it's not being greedy or something like that, it's soon the end of the month a spending my money on a game now would hurt my food money.
I will for sure buy it when i get money the 1st=payday
But would be nice to play it after all before a buy... just to be 100% sure it's a good product that can run on my pc.

I pirate, some games i do buy alot i dont, i could say if i like it i buy it but that is bullshit. I have not figured out why i buy some games and why i dont and it has nothing to do with not finding cracks. I am not a huge fan of crysis but i like shooters, regardless of the price tag I probably will not buy this game. If you think buying this will reflect if they(Crytek) go to consoles or not, that is crazy.Its money to be made in Consoles so it will be done no matter what. Yes, they put there blood, sweat and tears into this and they should get paid. I would be pissed if someone did this to me, like how alot of groups get mad when others steal there cracks.So, i cant justify why i do it. I just do. This game should be taken care of today i am sure. The crack will come, i will get it. I will play through the game and then delete it from my hard drive and move onto the next. no real reason, maybe it is simple cause i can.
Like i said i am more a fan of shooters then crysis, other then the gfx i did not see what all the hub bub was about. To me, it was just a average shooter, just prettier I will look forward to trying this game out.
