I'm one of those people that don't think much of the post-Black Metallica albums, but IMO Death Magnetic has potential. More than St. Anger ever did, anyway...

well i guess Metallica isnt for all , im 31 year old and started listen to heavy metal trough Metallica albums, is a cult band no mather vwhat people say , i agreed that they arent the old Metallica , but guess what , still gonns listen the new album and NOTHING ELSE MATHERS , SOOO FUCKING WHATTT.
i mean, i haven't heard the new album (but gonna do that right now) but i've been a metallica fan since i was about 14 and yes, they are not what they used to, but i acutally thought that st. anger was back to the roots ... kinda. but then again, i loved every album they made.
to cut it short, i don't understand the hate metallica is getting the last few years *shrug*

well i like the music the day that never comes , reminds me their old albums.
They didn´t die after And justice..., or after the black album. By then they were already dead. They died around the same time as Cliff Burton died. Master of Puppets is the last good album.
Best since Master of Puppets. Never cared too much for Black Album anyways, but I never got in to fanboyrage over it. Glad to see the old farts still can thrash it properly.
