And what game has any noticeable graphical improvement when comparing dx10 and dx9? It's all the same piece of crap BUT at least dx10 should go faster than dx9 because that's what dx10 was designed for and hence if it goes faster there is more room to squeeze a bit more out of the engine so that it looks a little better, like more detailed shadows and particle effects.

I just wonder why guys like him still wander around this board unharmed... >.>
I'm getting awfully tired of waiting for the game to come out... Even longer wait for Polish release+ - week for delivery, and I still haven't made an order. @.@

I've given up on a warez release for this game. It won't come out before official release so I just bought a copy on Steam. So, fuck RELOADED, RAZOR1911 and every other release group. They are just newbies who can't crack shit.

You showed them! Be that as it may I'm thinking of buying too if it's really optimized and multiplayer is fun. I mean 30$ for AAA PC title, can't go wrong with that.

Swebarb, since EA is the publisher and EA uses SecuROM plus that EA is now using the online functionality of SecuROM in ALL their upcoming release I'd say there's a large chance that Warhead will also use this form of protection.
(Crysis also used SecuROM but it was the traditional disc check version.)
Red Alert 3, Mirrors Edge, Sims 3, Dead Space are other titles EA publishes and those will probably use the same protection.
Ofcourse it doesn't really matter that much since it still gets cracked pretty fast but patches can be troublesome. (AitD, Spore, Bionic Commando, Mercenaries 2 and Mass Effect have all been cracked but the patches for BC and ME are still uncracked.)

Crysis Warhead CVG Review - 92%
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=197118
Warhead honestly is the finest burst of action gaming released so far this year, and if you're canny then you'll be able to pick it up for a mere £15 from online retailers. It's a five hour tour-de-force that's plugged the holes in Crysis with diamonds; underlining just what a shame it was that those holes were there to steal outright greatness last time round. Psycho is many things but, as he'd tell you just before thowing you into the sea, he's certainly no muppet.
Edit: http://www.driverheaven.net/gamingreviews.php?reviewid=634 - 93%
At the price of $30, Crysis Warhead is really hard to fault and will probably be in the top 3 first person shooter games when this year ends. The single player campaign plays great and looks fabulous especially with the more reasonable system demands now being asked. The open ended nature as well as the variety of combat situations just make this a title any self respecting PC gamer should not miss. Crytek have clearly listened to the criticism levelled at Crysis and have produced a stunning expansion which surpasses the quality of the original in every way possible. Fabulous.
One not to miss, even if you don’t have mega hardware, it’s still playable.

The game is only five hours long? Not even worth pirating.

it's 5 h playing if u play it without dying and without staying 1-2 days to pass a level like in crysis mothership , the game will take like 10-12 h to complete

i'd rather have 5 hours of dense gameplay than 20 with all the action kinda stretched out. just look at call of duty 4 - played through it in about 6 hours and that was the best fps experience in 2007. besides, it's just an expansion, so what do you expect?

Exactly. COD4SP was just part of the great package, a good part, but still very much the smaller part. MP was the most important part, and Crysis's MP is nothing to write home about, so not worth it.

While I agree about CoD4 MP being excellent I think that CoD4 SP was nothing special if not retarded and ridiculous (with millions of brainless enemies running at you like in Serious Sam).
