They should make Crysis Wars free, like Fear Combat. But it's EA, so not going to happen...

Holy crap, are those numbers real?

I knew that it sold more than 1.5 million but damn...
So with those numbers and Crytek's bullshit er, statistics on piracy there are about 45000000-60000000 Crysis copies all around the world.

Awesome. Laughing

Never said they're morons, I'd rather say they're overwhelmed by Crysis being a total nextgen as such than the game itself. One thing that Crysis doesn't have is the multi, - one thing that sucks on the whole, with no damn exceptions...

If Reloaded or any other scene group were to release this it would have been announced the proper way and not distributed via P2P technology.

Pre'd as they call it.
(From private FTP to Usenet and from there to Torrent and IRC and whatever else can be used to DL with.)

EDIT: And it would be two DVD's as well unless they suddenly started ripping content as Crysis: Warhead is on one disc and Crysis Wars (MP component.) is on the other.
(Explained in a preview someone linked to earlier I believe.)

EDIT: Interview.
http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=999
(Hope they go trough with porting parts of this over to the old Crysis such as the optimizations they've done.)

few weeks? fuck leetness I don't care about that stuff I just want my stuff NAO NAO!!
I won't complain if I get it earlier but I usually don't have that much time to play; hell, I still haven't checked out a couple of major titles released in the last year and earlier this year ( The Witcher, Assassins Creed, Gears of war, etc ) let alone those from the past couple of weeks.

I'm not trying to convince anyone that public trackers ( or even torrents ) are the shit, but if I really did get 5kb/s I would use a private tracker instead; it's only that the old days of leaving your machine on to even up the ratio are gone( and I'll admit, I know shit about FTP's and IRC's Crying or Very sad ).

I really like Crysis multiplayer if it wasn't for the freakin overpowered VTOL that ruins most maps, unless you're playing on a modded server where they cost like 1800 prestige instead of the default 600.

It's kind of like a mixture of command and conquer renegade (absolutely awesome multiplayer) and battlefield.

So yeah I'm going to buy crysis warhead just for crysis wars. I'm not happy about it, because most of the changes there should have been a patch for Crysis multiplayer, but it can't be helped. If buying crysis wars is the only way to get my hands on crysis multiplayer enhancements then this is how it shall be.

So I heard (in regard to Crysis Wars) that the game will be divided into 2 discs: Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars. I wonder if Crytek will go on and sell those separately too. I won't be playing multi either way (my ping sucks hard) so I'd love to save additional penny or two...

My system for the review was a Q6600 with a 260 GTX and I was able to set the graphics to 1920x1200 with details at Enthusiast level (basically the same as very high from before). The game not only looked amazing but it ran around the 35-50fps mark. Anyone with a 8800GTS or higher will be able to enjoy Crysis at high resolution with the eye candy on full. For those with slightly less impressive hardware, you can comfortably use Gamer setting, which increases frame rates by a good 20%. You do lose a little of the image quality obviously but it’s still very impressive.

As in the engine use to make HL2 is different from the one use to make HL2:EP2. Still same but different looking.

Specially in this game there's no distinction between the two APIs. Wink
