The guy stoped uploading when he saw a scene release. He got the game early and started uploading just in case there was no scene release. But with his shitty speed and the scene beeing out, he descided to stop

PS.: TFU on PS3: brighter, has more blur in order to hide graphically weaker parts of the game lol... (these features apply to almost every game on PS3)
xbox360: darker, has more vibrant colours and better textures
If you prefer brighter screen with more blur on, then pick the ps3 vesion, if you want more vibrant colours, less blur, slightly better textures then go for the 360 |
Very interesting post, thanks for the read! To be honest, I only have a 360 and as such will only be able to get The Force Unleashed for that console though to be honest, it sounds like it's going to be so damn good I probably wouldn't care which console I played it on! Here's to the leak! |
You shouldn't be worried with the 360 since, according to the demo test, it's gonna look a wee bit better on 360. Just look at the texture comparison...

Pretty good so far, played the first two levels. The first level is just awesome (not because of its structure, but because you play the fucking Vader). He just casually walks but at the same time kills everything that moves. His force push is one hit one kill, or you can charge it up (looks alot like kamehameha (sp?) from DBZ when goku does it), and then you can kill lots of enemies at once. Combat is pretty standard button mashing, you have only one X button for the melee attack.
Then the second level you play as the apprentice, and it was kind of downing since you just played as the freaking Vader with awesome power, and now you are weaker. The apprentice is not a pushover, he also has force push and grab.
The enemies are idiots, guys with guns just stand in one place and wait for you to kill them. Melee guys a bit better, they charge at you, but can also block.
The level design is VERY linear, at least the fist two levels, pretty much its a straight line, invisible walls on both sides, no way to get lost. There are hidden items though, like powerups and points and stuff that you can spend to buff yourself up.
The T rating really sucks. I was trying to cut some trees with the light saber in the first level, and the trees just gently sway as you try to cut them down, really lame as the light saber is no better than a fucking stick. No cutting limbs or anything for that matter, you might as well be swing a light stick like on a rave party, this is probably the biggest complaint from me, aside from the level structure of the first two levels.
It looks good and the physics engine is pretty cool, but its just a nice distraction that will probably wont last for long.
Also there is of course quick time events to finish EVERY boss. Pretty freaking annoying. You dont really get punished for getting it wrong as you can imideately try again. Its just annoying that the only way to finish them off is by mashing fucking quick time event buttons.
I think its worth a verb basing on the first two levels.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

good game.
finally something worth playing (imo) after all the junk (mercs and co)
definitely worth a verb.

Agree with the quick review and the EGM review..its a nice game to waste a verb but not worth buying!!!

Anyone notice a weird frame-skip everytime you hit someone with a lightsaber? like a nano-second freeze?.. I remember other games having that sorta thing, just wanna make sure it wasn't a bad burn.

Yeah, but i assumed those are meant to be? Whoever played the demo, is it the same thing in demo? Also my cutscenes lag. Burned it as usual 1x on verbs, but every cutscene lags and skips.

If it's supposed to be like that it kinda takes away from the smooth fighting feeling...I've been searching gameplay videos on YouTube but the place is jerking off right now, won't load a single vid.
