To flat out deny the power is there is quite absurd. Now in terms of what each platform has going for it as we stand today the 360 is the out and out winner, great game library, its graphics are reasonably good (currently especially in terms of texture clarity it edges out the PS3) But i cant help think to myself that the PS3 has a little more of a life cycle in it than the 360. When MS bring the next one out, which is slated towards the end of this decade i cant help but think if history will repeat and millions of poeple will be left in the cold like those of us who saw development of games for our beloved xbox grind to a halt virtually overnight. |
The thing it more simple you want to play now not tomorrow, next year.
The Cell processor it´s not the ideal choice for gamming for fluid simulation and particles movement yes ,but for practical gaming in 90% of titles it´s pointless.
Sony simply chose bad decisions regarding CPU vs GPU.as microsoft does in the airflow of the system
