Well... I think you may be missing the point. it is all about war. If you had a huge world where people were all spread out and the zones feel deserted (like WOW btw at this present time) then, you wouldn't have the war-like feeling. I think it is cool how everything feels like war. You see a group of 20 or so people and they are all fighting together because of Public Quests. I don't think this game is about wandering around and exploring... it's about war. It's about RVR. It's about PVP. If those things don't sound appealing to a person, then this game is not for them most likely.
Me personally? I think it pisses all over WOW in fun factor. I have had more fun in this game during closed beta and now in open beta than I did in WOW. The PVP has been some of the most heart racing and intense fun I have had in quite a while. I think the Public Quests are one of the most innovative things to come along in an MMO and I also find those fun as hell. I also find it kinda refreshing that i don't have to wander for 30 minutes looking for something to kill, do, or complete.
Now as far as graphics, i still don't think we have all options available to us. If that isn't the case however, i can see why they had to keep the graphics down... how are you going to have 100+ people on screen at once in the later RVR instances on even a top rated machine if the graphics aren't knocked down a notch? You won't. I think the graphics are fine though as they stand. They have constantly been improving the animations as the game has progressed and they are far better than they have been in the past.
I love how different each area for each race actually looks distinct and different and how the zones blend. I thing then level design is top notch.
I love that it is built from the ground up for PVP and how all the classes can actually hold their own in RVR.
Different strokes for different folks, but there's my take on things. I am very much in love with war. I think it is a fun, exciting game in which they took the goods things in WOW, took out the boring things, and then added more excitement and innovation to it.
can't wait to see what the future holds, but I also know it isn't going to be for everyone.

How can you manage to make a game that is released in 2008 look worse than WoW which got released when? 6 years ago?
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Have to say this is the most fun i've actually had in an mmo, played WoW for a few month's couldn't get into it, played AoC, and that was just flawed, this game has alot to offer, an the potential it carrie's is unreal, i will definately buy it upon retail. i just need someone to explain to me how tier's work, if someone could explain or pm me with an explanation as to how tier's work, i would greatly appreciate it.
