I suspect the region locking is something to do with licences between Europe and US and the qwirky music industry.

I just downloaded the game to see if it contains a high-quality wma of the rumored new Guns 'n Roses song. The actual files of the game are packed in .ark containers. Is this an EA standard archive format and are there tools to extract them?

It's at the Chronos Club in Montreal. I'm not sure if you have to be connected to live, as I haven't tried it without connecting. I scored 35th with drums :/ Speaking of which, does it separate scores by instrument or what?

I'm pretty sure it does... So you played on live? I usually use XDVDMulleter to check my burns but this game isn't in the database yet. Are you using anything to verify?

The funny thing...we PS3 owners have DLC for RB here on Europe/Spain...yet the game's NOT RELEASED YET???...

I mean...WTF are they thinkin?...3 months of waitin' after Uncle Gay's/Gates Temporal X360 excusivity,they bring RB DLC 3 weeks before the game launches?...
Anyways i've got RB for PS2 (piratey) and got the drum set,yet i'll get RB for PS3 and GHWT's Band Bundle...also RB2 (only the game...TwT)
BTW...The screenshot up there about "the pre-challenge" thingy..made me laugh...it was like "BUSTED!! *BLOCKING GAME CONTENT* GO BUY THE REAL DEAL!!"

Technicly, they are DLC for RB1. There was RB2 content a week before the game was release and the same content was was in RB1 aswell.

no idea but this thread is for rock band 2 not rock band 1 which is what that link is for,i hear there is a method to change region on disc,so is there no brainy american who can take the game,change region and reupload it with out region block?
