Ok heres my problem guys please read, I'm running deamon tools 3.47. I don't get any errrors when I try to mount the cd simply doesn't is stays the blank drive , so I have tried to got the (first unmounting the image and closing deamon) key dpsomething and clicked it selected permission from the edit menu and and clicked the deny tick for the second colum read. still the same thing I even restarted , funny thing is untill I restart the port 2 menu choices dissapear entierly.

How the fuck do i do the dance correctly?? i can get really good heart romance but as soon as i fuck it up ONCE she goes grrrrr and i have to do it all again. I can do it easy with the flashing icons but once its done by her hand movements it SUCKS
worst part of this game

I dled from Pirate Bay and got two image files with no extension. As stated above when mounting windows won't read the files after they are mounted. I tried the reg fix in read me and it didn't help. Got a coaster when i tried to burn disk 1, can someone post the setting they used in alchohol (1.9.2.1705) they used to burn successfully?

1: Pirates is the "mother game" of games like Pirates of the Carribean or Port Royale 1+2 and Sid Maier invented the RPG +Action Sea Game Style! It´s one of the famoust game in the history of Computer Games!
2: u can´t burn this Alcohol Image and Play the Game from CD! This is only possible if u burn the Image on CD as an image ( not extracted)! Best way is to play it from HD with Daemon Tools mounting or Alcohol Mounting!!!

I heard that this is supposed to work with Daemon Tools, but it says "CD emulation software detected" or something like that. Btw, I haven't tried the registry hack since I can't find any such values in my registry.

For me it's Scsi port 1 not Scsi port 2, when i make the regtweak at Scsi port 1 it works.

I have problem with the intro and the other movies in the game. They are really, really slow. Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do about it?

For those having trouble with the REGEDIT -
I just set ALL SCSI ports to DENY even though I didnt have the value listed in the NFO. Worked fine for me. And stop burning it to a CD - simply use DAEMON TOOLS to mount the damn thing and then install from there. . .dunno why people still waste time with burning CD's for games.
As for the game - so much fun. Ship battles in the beginning are hella fun, when charging in and firing 11 cannons. . .BOOM!

This worked for me when I tried it! The instructions in the NFO did not.

This game isnt as good as Port Royale 2. I am playing on the hardest difficutly and its still way easy. The combat is plain and not much skill or tactics needed. Having to sail east is the most boring event in history.
The dancing was cool the first two times maybe after that its just a pain.
Theres no real good character development and politics are boring.
I had higher hopes for the sequel to the classic Pirates. Its fun for a while but could of been better.

I am running windows 2000 and am having trouble finding the permissions menu when I right click any folder or key in my registry. Is this an XP only fix or am I missing something? Any help is appreciated because I wanna play this junk BAD.
