It's pretty much the same as it is with for example South Park and Isaac "Chef" Hayes (RIP btw). He didn't mind when they fucked with christianity, islam or mormons but when they made scientology look bad then he quit the show.

well, when i play something in multiplayer with my brother or my closest buddies (notice not online, that's something totally different imo) i do it for the fun, but the fuckups are part of the fun for me. i.e. they getting killed all the time or dropping of some ledge and killing themselves or totally fucking up something - we most of the time have a good laugh and that's that for the matter (notice, i fuck up my part at least as often as they, so we're balanced most of the time ^^)

Yep. But he always (well, almost) has a point - his reviews are not just funny, but they point (often in rather cruel way) problems with the games.
