Lol it did the same to me (Mercenaries 2 World In Flames USA XBOX360-VORTEX). Didn't really care though. So it beeps out a bunch of bad words during the crappy cutscenes... big deal 
I have the NTSC version and it is rated T for TEEN. If it had words like "shit" in it, it would have been rated M for MATURE. This game tries to be so badass and yet it blocks out bad words

because as far i see can tell, there is no uncut pal release as of now
and unless somebody tells me that the ragdoll effects are a must see and the execution of captured bad guys gets you anything, i won't bother to wait for an uncut and take what i can

The game is fun for like 5mins but with the teen rating and all it stinks a lot more, feels like a kiddy game. Oh well.. i'll wait for Gears of War 2 and saw some bodyparts off.

When I subdue a HVT he just disappears and it gives me the money. Is this because of the cut version?
Also, is there any way to get past the online region-lock, except getting a new 360 and game?

Played it for a bit now and it's great fun. Pretty cool how you can really blow up anything.
I don't mind there beeing no blood... I don't need a game to have blood to be able to enjoy it.
My only gripe with the game is the horrible vehicle controls and physics.
I mean... A to accelerate, X to brake and reverse? That's like some shit in a 10 year old game. Nowadays you use R2 to accelerate and L2 to decelerate and reverse.
It's also a pain to get around corners or turn in a tight space because you really can't go to either side too much. And then there's the ridiculously bad handbrake.
I guess the most stupid thing about it is that it doesn't even brake at all. Your speed doesn't seem to be impacted by using the handbrake whatsoever. All it does is make you slide around like you're driving around on ice or some shit, without any friction. Truly atrocious and it makes driving not fun at all.
But yeah, blowing shit up all over the place is fun enough to make this game enjoyable anyway.

EA needs a geography lesson, like really bad. I got the PAL Allstars release, trying to play with a friend in Sweden who bought the game here. It tells us were in fucking different regions. Nice job EA.
