I tried at 30/60 fps and full/half size and it brings me down from 60 to 20 fps all the time, and skipping like hell.

Quote: | as you see 169.06, on nvidia site the last drivers are 175
can this be because of monitor, i have CRT and is about 4 years old, maybe his contrast is not good enough for this game?
and now please don't make a fool of me, but do i have to uninstall current drivers and then install new one, or can i just install new ones over this ones, and witch program to use to uninstall drivers
thx |
Hmm, FORCEWARE should be able to uninstall previous drivers but to be on a safe side I'd first uninstall old drivers, then restart the PC and install new ones.
And no, this is not your CRT. It's not monits' fault.

and a little review:
Graphics: 8.8~9.0/10
Sound: 8.4/10 - its everything a bit to silent, car sound is crappy, but is not too bad...
Gameplay: 1st person - 8.7/10
3rd person - 4/10 -> later after you properly learn to walk 6.8/10
Story: 8.7/10
after all it's a very good game if you give her a chance

Anyone know how to break the 60fps limit? and how to do AA in AITD? I search the disk and regedit, could not find any configuration file, wired.

OK, so going back to my problem with missing dialogues.
Lately I've had this weird idea of installing english OS on my rig (dad no longer uses THIS PC so there is no need for lang to be Polish anymore), found a good one, downloaded and installed.
Then I had some weird issues with my Cmedia audio switching subwoofer output with center speaker (Creative t6100 5.1). I noticed this kind of malfunction in Lost planet Colonies where I couldn't hear dialogues clear, except for some low-tone 'something' coming out of Center speaker. I found the tick in drivers setup screen, turned it on (awesome function btw: "Do you want to have your subwoofer speaker and center speaker outpit switched?" -o.O why the fuck would I need that? ~.~) and ran LP Colonies - everything went fine, sound was as perfect as it could be on this integrated chipset.
Then it came to me, LOL, why not checking AITD once more? So, not very optimistic but still curious I launched installshield (still TDM release with darkcoders crack) to see if it worked or not. And weird enough... It did. All the dialogues are there in the game, it installed english version by default (quite contrary to before where I could change the game launguage after it was installed), even my Logitech Chillstream pad is working awesome with the game . So for all those who are having ANY dialogue issues with the game and are running integrated sound cards and/or non-english OS, switch your OS language to English and search for this awesome center/sub output switching... IT MIGHT BE THE CASE for you too, and btw, 5.1 is working great here too .
EDIT: Episode 4 and the game is getting so damn frustrating that I want to kill the guy who came up with driving engine ~.~.

game install it and work all perfect. everyone need a connection at the begin only to download the .exe. just we must to hope that in future do not implement this protection now. i have seen that at the end of the installation it ask for a serial and u can just stop all and step this and all files remain inside the folder anyway. i guess thouth if without a legit key the installation was rolling back we are all fucking then

I take it you mean game installations where you need to verify the disc or perhaps it's better to say verify your purchase in some way.
(Bishock for example, had a disc check at the end of installation but all that happened was that it downloaded the EXE file if it passed, not really important for those already using a fixed exe.)
True that it would have made AiTD a bit harder to bypass but not for long as installations can be hacked or even unpacked, I've modified a few installers myself and it's not that hard with the right software.

i mean that if the game is not fully validate online it could at the end automatically rolling back the installation and let u to not install it with 0 files into the folder. then after that? it's not a steam game to download totally online so i don't think that a rebuilded installer or an extracted was possible anyway

It is very possible to extract files from Installshield installations, so no worries. If the installation rolls back, just extract the files.

yes is very possible to leak an installshield installation but where there is an activation and is need to verify files or totally download something online this possibilities are less

Or just Ctrl-Alt-Del and force kill the process.

This.
Or have someone who has bought the game upload the needed files. No biggie.

For me its just when the window prompts for activation I just cancel it and the instalshield finishes its job, no big deal, no need to crash the process manually...

fuck I can't go throu the hassle of burning all those trees
it's like "here's the tree but you can't get to it"
I've gathered 52/100 or something near that I'll try more later cuz it gets too repetitive & boring
+ the hassle of long drives with cars that break due to wind resistance ( yes without hitting shit they break)
