I took this shot to note the difference in textures. I tried to get the Apprentice in the same spot in both versions and noticed that markings in the hangar are different. Although both have a case of jaggies, the Xbox 360 version stands out more while the PS3 version looks washed out and blurry. I was surprised to see it, seeing as how the PS3 version of the demo was bigger than the Xbox 360. It was something like 900 MB to 1 gig plus. I expected the bigger memory to be used on textures but I’m wrong.

Killzone 2 only looks above average for a PS3 game, Resistance 2 already looks better.
As for Uncharted, well personally I don't think it looks that special at all. A game as linear and restricted as that can always look good (e.g. Gears). A truly beautiful game is one that can create a believable world, and Uncharted certainly doesn't achieve that. That's far more dependent on the developer rather then the hardware.

Uncharted?? The graphics were nothing special in Uncharted. At least mention MGS4, now that's a pretty game to looks at.

Have you played full game of uncharted? It has levels looking much better than the demo one and I don't even get why people even mention MGS4, I know its a popular game but this is coming from someone that has only played mgs4 in the series and not a big fan of the series, so I'm unbiased about the game as possible.....the game isn't even in the top 5 of the best lookers

Yep, pretty sad eh? It's not the first game to do that on the PS3 either. It runs at a lower resolution and gets upscaled (poorly too). Sony really fucked themselves over by choosing a weak GPU, AGAIN (see PS2 version of RE4, had to have the lighting totally redone because it wasn't capable).
