Ive been reading some russian forums, and it seems the unpatched version is cracked (few people have said its working), downloading it at not that fast pace atm, i will inform you guys if its working.

edit nr4: there has to be something that works, i dont think they updated the starforce version so fast for no reason

i dont think you get it. people that would buy the game dont want any restrictions on installs and dont agree to the EULA. its as simple as that. if devolopers/publishers persist in using this type of protection and choose not to listen to their potential customers then its their own fault if their game is pirated and frankly they deserve it.

It's not like he doesn't want to support the devs. It's just that the publishers choice for copy protection is something he disagrees with. The one he's not supporting is the publisher. The developers already got paid.
Don't call him a fanboy simply because he wishes to support his convictions.

just look at the sales of galactic civilizations ffs...no trace of any protection and it's still selling quite well. the publishers are just shooting themselves in the foot. it's the same with movies - why do i have sit through the shit declaring me - THE F****** CUSTOMER - as a potential pirate? and just because someone can't pirate a game doesn't mean he'll buy it. or pirate the hell out of it once it is cracked so he doesn't have to deal with the damn protection. i still remember how starforce completely fucked up my system after uninstalling my completely legit SC:CT so i had to reinstall windows.

I think there's already a working version of the game... 
 Spoiler: | 1. Полностью удаляем игру (сначало саму игру, а потом записи в реестре);
2.Перезагружаем комп;
3.Устанавливаем опять игру;
4.Распаковываем no-cd, копируем содержимое в .../С.Т.А.Л.К.Е.Р.-Чистое Небо/Bin
5.Монтируем образ в !!!последний!!! DAEMON Tools (без него у меня синий экран появлялся)
6.Запускаем игру, принимаем сообщение о перезагрузке
7.Играем |

| Code: | For those who installed the game and ran it without applying NoDVD (there should have been a message sayin' Insert CD)
1 Uninstall the game completely (first the game itsef and then delete all registry entries)
2. Reboot PC
3. Re-install the game
4. Unrar NoCD and copy its contents to .../stalker/Bin
5. Mount the image with the !!!LATEST!!! version of Daemon Tools (unless u wanna see a blue screen)
6. Run the game and agree to reboot
7. Enjoy |

naturally nothing work. this version of sf put in blacklist the latest daemon tools. anyway then i don't think that RLD or VTY care theirself about this shitty version. their go to crack only US or european release
