I'm sick of people who say "Crysis didn't suck because my PC was powerful enough to run on Uber High settings." Oh well...

Yes, these people are what I call rich folk, I suppose they aren't trying to be rich folk so I use the definition loosely, but there's a button for them too, it's called hack into bank account and steal life-source

Yes you do one every thread you can find you say "go play your old games then" wtf go play your new games then. With my 4870X2 I can play Crysis in Ultra High settings in 1920x1200. Game still suck uber shit.
And about TR, . Hardware isn't out yet? Those settings were the 360 settings. Clearly it was just not optimized. But in that game, a clear opposite of Crysis, one had the motivation to play it because it was good, not because it had good graphics.

Reminds me of a story I heard from a game developer, they put this super-high setting in the game and stated on numerous occasions that it shouldn't be used unless you have some super machine it was more experimental and it had some new stuff and they where proud of it of course. Then the bashing came in on the forums that this game is unoptimized peace of shit, that it doesn't run properly on any machine of course the problem was that everyone was playing on super-high setting so they said it again "don't play on super high lower it to high and enjoy the game". Alas the bashing did not stop it only got worse so they released a patch that REMOVES the super-high setting from the options menu, that's all the patch did, and than the bashing turned into praising of the highest degree stuff like "this is the best patch ever!!", "I don't know what you did but now the game runs smooth", "best optimization in a single patch ever!"
He said he left the game industry still shaking his head on how stupid the game players are a lot of kids are gamers so you can't expect too much I guess.

Not sure what kind of warning sign would be enough, probably a red flicker over the whole screen with an air raid siren in the background and letters across the whole monitor:

I guess so, but sometimes the complaints are legit, it's hard to distinguish because even complaints are subjective and you can't please everybody so someone will always be bitchin', I think that's normal.
