X360 controller + PC games = best of both worlds. Since so many games are ported and fully support the controller you're crazy not to get one. 50$ gets you a controller + adapter, probably less if you look around.

This game is brilliant.
Just got to level 10 now and I'll continue it later.
How many levels does this game have?
Is devil may cry 3 any good?
Better?

Graphics in DMC3 is worse. Gameplay is the same. Only big difference is that Nero here, plays pretty much the same through whole game. while Dante gains new weapons after boss fights.

Nero is more fun though thanks to fuel injection and grabs.

A few questions since i don't feel like going through 16 pages :

- Does the game support 16:10 resolutions ? (most importantly 1680 x 1050)

- Does the game support the Logitech Rumblepad 2 ?

If the answer is yes to both of those then i may give it a shot. Never was a big fan of the DMC series and i much prefer Ninja Gaiden in that genre but DMC 4 does look pretty decent and im in need of playing something that is fast paced Very Happy .

I started playing Legendary Dark Knight mode, got my ass handed to me like five times on Mission 3, when you're supposed to meet 2 frosts for the first time. This time there were 10+. I won because I spammed the Charge Shot lv.3 and ran around so the camera didn't focus on them (they don't attack then). Makes me wonder what the next level will be like :/

Try Bloody Palace. 2 of those lightning-tossing, teleporting bastards in the same map. Or one level where you get about 8 alto angelos at the same time... repeated four times...

And devil may cry :~(

Devil May Cry 4 "pirated to hell and back," says Capcom
Quote:
Capcom in the US has admitted that sales of the PC version of Devil May Cry 4 are suffering due to severe piracy issues.

Writing on the official Capcom forums, vice president of strategic planning Christian Svensson said that the Japanese division has so far not allowed the title to be distributed digitally.

"I'm not sure about how Capcom in general feels but it's not doing as well as I would like in the US at retail," wrote Svensson.

"It's such a good version and it really deserves better sales. I know it's getting pirated to hell and back (it was up on torrents literally the day it shipped)."

"I certainly have pushed for digital distribution on the title but Capcom Japan so far has not allowed it."

Svensson added that all Capcom's US titles for the PC will eventually be distributed digitally, including the forthcoming Bionic Commando remake and new IP Dark Void.

FULL STORY

Oh well, I guess it's all true what you read on the net ...at least this time Wink.

even games on digital stores get pirated, hell even more easily , just look at single player games on steam HL2 etc..

I gotta say the game was good but for me it was more like a successful test of porting to the PC, the story was extremely lame, nero was not needed , love story is shit previous games were much better

I give it a 7/10

I'm still planning on buying this, the port was amazing, and I want to support Capcoms new found enthusiasm for bringing their games to PC.

I, for one, liked the story and thought Nero was an excellent character. Did 50 hours on that game before uninstalling it.
Meh, firemaster is on ignore, that guy is just.. Wow! If only people stopped quoting him too...

I finished the game it's an excelent action hack'n'slash game
all the moves and combos are great but the corny dialogues and cheesy story was the downside of it Smile

Can't get into this game I just don't like it's to 'consoly' for me all you do is fight from one stage to another, I know 90% of action games are like that Smile but I don't find it fun here, I heard it gets repetitive later on so I don't see any point in continuing.

Gets repetitive?

Dude it's like the developers finished the game, found out it was too short, decided to add Dante and have him double back the way you came as Nero in order to lengthen the game, found out it wasn't long enough, and decided to implement a bullshit board game to artificially extend play time.

Fuck them.

Laughing yes I heard something like that I think the better option was to unlock Dante after you finished the game, it adds to replayability for those that liked the game and doesn't harras the ones who finished it and have no desire to play it again.

The downside of the game is that it actually is about only 4-5 areas that gets replayed 100000000000 times. The city, the mansion, the forest, the castle, the headquarters? Don“t remember anymore.

The game mechanics itself is a really good.

Makes me really sad that CAPCOM is losing so much on this. They may just stall any projects they have to be released on PC because of that Sad. I'm still waiting for my DMC4 to ship but it seems I'm one of the few Sad Sad. Even worse than that would be CAPCOM using some badass protection next time. Their games seem to be always a bit late in country so I have to play copies beforehand Sad.

My Logitech Dual Action simply refuses to work on this game, and works on all other games.

Tried searching for solution but everywhere i see they say gamepad support is awesome.

Ended up finishing the game with the keyboard and it sucks playing with keyboard.

Game rules btw. Wink

I have a Foxconn gamepad, and the D-pad and the two analog sticks don't work on this game.
I have tried all the gamepad configs, why can't you just define the keys inside the game instead of having the XBox360 controller. This is lame.

Any ideas, pick of the controller:

Capcom might reveal Devil May Cry 5 at this years E3 convention, supposedly it's for the PC, X360 and PS3 platforms.
