|
 |
Yesterday I connected my PS3 to the internet again (after playing offline a couple of months). I updated to xx.42 I think, the system update that enables the XMB in-game. I also updated GTA IV to v1.02. Everything worked fine but since this morning everything is going wrong. I get Error 80010514 (which is bad, a quick google suggested). It's like the blu-ray drive doesn't read the discs anymore, sometimes I can boot a game but then it will keep loading forever or something like that. I'm now doing a full format (after backing up my savegames). If that doesn't work, what else will? Anyone else have the same problem?

No it hasn't actually. I'm going to look for the receit and try to return it to sony, I've read a bit about the error and most people call Sony, send it to them and receive a refurb or new one in a few weeks (at least here in Belgium).
