Felon - 9 / 10

Best movie I saw in a very long time.

Val Kilmer's best role I think.

I thought the black dude from Lost played the Lt really well.

Bienvenue Chez Les Chtis - 8/10

Brilliant comedy about a Post office director that gets relocated to the north of France. He think it will be hell, but he starts to love it. He has to lie to his wife still living in the south, as she won't believe it can be any good living up in the ice cold and primitive Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

A really warm and super funny film. Could be hard for some ppl that don't understand French as there is a lot of jokes and stuff using northern french dialect.

Will Smith is casted for the American remake of it.
LINK
I am sure it wont be as good as the original!.

Again cheers ThOMaZ for the tip!.

Going to watch a real classic now, La Grande Vadrouille Wink.

Agree with Hancock.. was some a little distracting/annoying scenes

Anyway, Felon - 8.5/10

Pinapple Express. Great funny movie...not funny like superbad funny but definatly very funny. Action was good too and they even pulled it off to be funny. Isn't sad when you laugh when someone dies in a movie. Well you will understand when you watch this movie.

9/10 but I was high Smile

2/10. I was baked and I did not like it. I laughed at a couple parts, but overall, it was just a frustratingly bad movie that dragged on too long.

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Ricky Jay shine through in this movie. It's pretty good.

Step Brothers --- 8/10

"Where you going?"
"I'm going upstairs! Cause' I'm gonna put my nutsack, on YOUR drum set!!"

Only Will Ferrel can deliver a line like that with such conviction! Very Happy

Never Back Down 4/10.

I'm not in to MMA or anything, but the fights were pretty well made. Rest of the movie sucked, and it's obvious to see it was Djimon Honsou cashing in starring random teen-stars.

As i am in to this period of French films at the mo...

-"Bernie" 10/10
A retard want to seek out his parents that throw him in to the garbage shoot as a newborn. This is one MAD and crazy film I tell you. Probably one of the best films i have seen in a looong time. Totally dark and spastic humor...JUST SEE IT!

-"C'est arrivé près de chez vous" (It took place close to your home) 9/10
(Beligian) MUST SEE! Faked docu about a serial killer...out of this world!!!

-Le Dîner De Cons (A dinner for an idiot) 9/10
A French Classic!!! About a gang of rich guys setting up a dinner, and they always invite an idiot to spice it up with...but with a twist.

-Le Pere Noel Est Une Ordure (Santa is a pice of shit/garbage)9/10
Again a classic. Dark French humor at its best.

-Tais toi (Shut up) 8/10
Two criminals (one tuff guy and one idiot) end up together and try to escape the mob...super funny comedy!.

Hollywood can never beat this stuff...they try hard by remaking some of the above...but they never beat the originals!.

All the subs for these films are on the net, and are easy to find Wink.

Cheers to "Kommando" for some of the tips on these films. Still have a bunch to dl and watch Smile.

if u like french film, watch 99 francs, I really enjoyed that flick , awesome camera and story telling!

oh and pineapple express was 9/10 and i didnt even smoke, their random humor was a killer, but you have to understand it, probably not easy to comprehend if you are a foreigner (not from us) and not into weed.

I laughed to tears at some points

limited release (and it was on July 18 , TDK day , it didnt even do half a mil , what a fucking waste

it's really a shame , shit like this only discourages fuding for more movies , i mean shit .. it's not like the people involved are working on high salaries and cashing in from the movie's budget . luckly canal+ (who also made Mulholland Drv. possible) and the spains did the funding for Anderson's last two movies. that guy really knows how to direct a solid flick and has a solid track record.

sofar top movie of 2008

TDK , Wall-E , In Brugdes and Transsiberian the reast is negligible
