But if you have a phone with them (even a pre-paid like me) you will get like a 10pound discount on it.

I'm happy as Larry with them. Had a this brodband for a past 3 months and can't complain about anything. And they call-centre isn't run by Indian folks (I'm not a racist or anything - but if anyone of you called into BT helpline or anything you will know how big problem it is..)
I hear you about call center staff being four thousand miles away on a different continent, being pretty useless. Is it really uncapped ? Do you get slower speeds during peak times ? Can you use P2P without getting disconnected or your bandwidth shaped (limited) ?

I pay $134/month total for Digital TV and movies, High speed internet, and my digital phone.

I pay an extra $10 to up it from 5Mb/s to 10.

I always get a steady 1100KB/s from usenet.
I was thinking the same Phluxed, an extra 500KB/s and 40gb more download limit is worth $20 imo

I pay $109 or so for all 3, and an extra $15 for my 3 DVR/HDTV boxes. 40 is what it breaks down to on the bill. Cogeco is pretty great, except they're enforcing some bandwidth limits on my acct now... 700GB in 10 days sort of drew attention to me.

I hear the same. There was actually a movie on youtube showing some callcentre in India which actually was a callcentre of some UK company... they just simply redirect all calls there,
Simply because they're cheap...

Coming back to your questions :
- Yea it's totally uncapped.
- No I got the same speeeds all the tim
- P2P is totally unthrottled. - Even they routers already got build in firewall rules for
apps such a like DC , BitTorrent etc Smile

There are often big areas with fibers in cities in Sweden so id guess 400-500 SEK. At least that is what a friend of mine pays for a dedicated server in Sweden. When Sweden does something, they go all the way Wink

With only 9-9.5 million ppl in the 4th biggest country in Europe (449,964 square kilometers), that's no big feat Razz. I await the day when Germany is going fibre...but remember there is something like 84 million here;).

Crappy benchmark results today, was rather above 1000kb/s for upload last time i checked. Sad
They should roll out FTTH for my building later this year for 19,90€/mo (currently paying 29,90€/mo for 30mb internet, 120+ cable tv channels and unlimited international phone)...
