Memento is quite flawed, but it's really cool. I see the Batman movies as his most complete so far. But he is generally VERY talented. So far he hasn't taken a step wrong in my mind Smile

15 min break for a 2,5 hour long movie? Why? Are your seats that bad? Laughing

I think dany divito (sp?) is the only one who could "fit" the roll Razz

him and mr freeze though are a bit....too fairy taleish to fit into these new batman movies. Then again, look what they did with the scarecrow.

You should really go and see TDK in the cinema, nothing can replace that experience.

I disagree with opinions such as above.

It finally premiered today in Poland so I can give my opinion on the movie.

It certainly doesn't deserve it's place in imdb's top 250. It lacked in story and characters depth besides Joker, which is the only thing that made this movie stand above this-average-hollywood-high-budget-flick. I already got fed of and over such, so perhaps it is why I was so greatly dissapointed with it, or it could also be the hype imdb and this thread generated(if so, fuck You Sad). The idea with cellphones being used as sonars and turned into all seeing eye was the biggest let down which almost made me puke, but that could as well be the case of overdose of Coke and popcorn during screening. What made me open my mouth for few minutes was the decision of that inmate(The Green Mile anyone?), what would make it even mroe outstanding would be the decision of civilian ferry blowing up inmates. Yet another dissapointment was survival of Bruce after that shot in the chest, they could so perfectly utilize the new suits flaw mentioned early and let go of Batman in a dark and gritty way to bring this movie higher into my personal ranking, but it's more likely that I'm fed up with happy or close to that endings.

It's awesome, not epic as ratings suggest.

-8/10 from me.

Ps. The hospital detonator scene made me laugh realy hard, it was legen... wait for it... DARY.

Totally agree. I felt bored while watching it, not to mention some very dubious moments. Frankly, maybe it's the nostalgia talking but I liked the more cartoonish version of Gotham and Jocker ...

All in all, an "ok" movie, not top 250 at all.

Leo don't jump to conclusions please. I merely stated Cloverfield to be more of a cinematic(holy fuck factor) experience than knight. And to clear things up dark knight is superior to it.

That's like comparing Cloverfield to memento, both being great in their own way.
