I got: Half-Life_2_READ_NFO-EMPORiO, Half.Life.2.EMPORiO.FIX.REPACK-ape and http://www.naoneo.com/hl2/

Works like a charm, no AI problems, Node rebuild problems or steam problems.

I finally found one and to think I knew this board existed and never bothered to check until now.. This is a fix for the hud problems and ai and npc freezing problems that exist in the proper by emporio and some other versions

Basically the aux power meter is always red and some important info on the right such as secondary ammo and keyboard tips are not displayed either.. Also sometimes like at an elevator the npc does not go in just freezes that's fixed and the ai/node graph bugs also fixed don't thank me, thank edministrator!

Am I right in assuming the following:

The Steam Version requiers me to play in "Online Mode" and the DVD/CD version requiers me to play with the DVD/CD in the machine?

Or can I play the Steam Verion in offline mode? If I can do that I can install the Steam Version on more then one PC, can't I?

Both require the internet unless you download the iso's... retail requires cd/dvd in drive but i think they're probably going to patch it to remove this.

Thx mate Very Happy. Works like a charm, all is here aux, sec.ammo, ai, hints. You only have to add ai_norebuildgraph 1 to autoexec to disable nore, but remove ai disable from it (if you won't remove it, the elevator 'bug' will still be present).

I'm really happy to have boughten the game when I read about all these issues...Wink

Just one question: I got the collecters edition, works great, but the DVD needs to be inside the drive to be able to play the ame. Is there any No Cd patch for hl2 collectors edition out there?

It fixed all things except one, that girl at the elevator still just stands there. The only way to fix that even with this "patch" is to run madly fast into the elevator. But other than that everything is fine now Smile

What Fix do i have to use?
I have the emporio proper + Half.Life.2.All.Ver.Fix.READNFO-Drunkards

Do i need other fixes to solve problems??
ai , node graph, secondary ammo , aux meter ??

And where do i have to put the ai_disable if you say that i cant put i in the autoexec.cfg? without having the elevator bug??
and whats the best way to start the game?
With launcher.exe or hl2.exe with some attributes?

THNX!

someone told me it works 4 him !
1. Run "regedit"

2. Find following entrys in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\Devicemap\SCSI\SCSI Port 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\d347prt
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\d347prt
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E97B-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
last key must contain - \0000\InfPath "pnpscsi.inf"

3. Then rightclick on each entry, then click on "Permission..." and set "Deny" on System`s "Read" option.

4. Go to the Windows dir and make file called "daemon.bak" and set "Read only" and "System" attributes on it. This will stop securom from removing RMPS emulation and Daemon Tools from system

Push the "extra speed" button and run in right when the doors start to open up. She will enter if you do it fast enough.

I didn't use any commands with those patches, i tried without the ai commands.
