So Intel will be making graphics cards soon?

32 x86 processors... all a lot more primitive than the current ones, but still 32 of them... just imagine all the things you can do with em... haha. And they also seem to be focused on integrating them for not only games but high performance computing. Sweet stuff, gonna be interesting to see how it all turns out. Its nice they're using the x86 instruction set, so anyone can play around with em.

They were pushing MS to make HW accelerated ray tracing in games possible with DX11, but MS turned them down, so it still remains unclear if Intel will be able to have an edge over the competitors.

The x86 thing is nice, but I think the vector units (16 instructions per cycle per core) will be even more interesting for high performance computing.

There larabee tech demo was a joke anyway.
They ran a oldskool looking graphics demo and it was not even smooth.
