American Mcgee's Grimm

Quote:
American McGee's Grimm is an upcoming 24-part episodic game series based upon Grimm's Fairy Tales, developed by Spicy Horse and to be distributed online by GameTap starting prospectively in Spring of 2008. Grimm will resemble the warped fairy-tale style of American McGee's Alice, and will be written and executive-produced by the same person, R. J. Berg. The original announcement was made in the June 2007 issue of PC Gamer. In a recent interview with GameSpot, American said that he would like to put this game on Xbox Live and may release it in retail form. In the game you'll help a person named Grimm return the darkness to fairy tales.

Spicy Horse Games is using Unreal Engine 3 technology for American McGee's Grimm.

There are currently 24 episodes planned for Grimm and it has been announced that they will be approximately half an hour in length. The game has been referred to as "highly accessible" and American has commented that the game experience shares a similarity with Katamari Damacy.

Release : 31th July

As for the rest: I CANT BE BOTHERED FINDING OUT THE INFO LOOK IT UP YOURSELF YOU LAZY BASTARDS

Oh and might I add - The first Episode will be free, the rest will be free on the first day of play for 24 hours. I'm looking forward to this quite abit, even though Bad Day LA sucked balls, Alice is still one of the best games i've ever played.

OK I saw some weird gfx styles used in games over the years. But this game is plain insufferable ugly and makes me puke. And I don't mean low poly count or low quality textures, I just completely despite this game's style.

Wasn't there a plan for an Alice-styled The Wizard of Oz game?

We apologize, but the GameTap service currently is available only in the United States and Canada. The GameTap service will be expanding into additional countries, but no release dates are available at this time.

GameTap is taking a most unusual approach with its first weekly episodic game series. Each episode of American McGee's Grimm – individual "fractured fairytales" from the designer of American McGee's Alice – will debut as a free download and remain free for a 24-hour period!

It's free to download for the first 24 hours then you pay to download it. If I understood it right.
