Oh yeah, just cause it says based on real events means it's like in the movie. Right.
'Original' points to the plot device at hand. |
Since all the details on the matters discussed in the movie are sealed till who knows when, it's hard to say if it is or isn't based on real events. However, judging by pas movies done in similar fashion, most of the events are probably true.

Scarface [3/10] - This movie has not aged well at all, the only redeeming factor is Pacino's acting.
G.I. Jane [6/10] - Decent movie, while I honestly doubt it's message - it's certainly entertaining. It's a pity there are a bunch of military errors making it a bit unrealistic - but none the less entertaining to watch.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Doomsday 5/10 Ridiculous and sometimes boring.

Im gunna have to go with the majority on this one, Scarface is a classic. I have the special edition on dvd. Good movie, no matter how many times you've seen it.
Still, i guess it only appeals to a certain type of person.

In the company of men!
I fell in love with Aaron Eckhart in thank you for smoking! He's so fucking awesome and in this movie... fucking brilliant! If you're a chick you'll hate him! You'll fucking detest him but omfg! This movie is such gold! It's amazing! Aaron is amazing! He was good too in conversations with other women.
8/10! 10/10 for Aaron!! Brilliant! Lolled soo much!

Heath Ledger's performance as the sadistic Joker was amazing! |
Heath should get an Oscar if it is possible.
And the movies is a little too long, I think.
Anyone have a clue who could be the next villain? Penguin, Catwoman, scarface,
Talia al Ghul or the riddler.
I would like too see the Penguin.

I dunno, I looked at Godfather I-II recently and Scarface, to me comes out as any episode of Miami Vice by comparison, except starring Al Pacino.
Without Pacino it would've been a joke imo.

I would expect the catwoman. I think that character needs redemption after Halle's travesty. Throw in the little fox comment
Spoiler: | About not knowing how the suit will hold up against dogs, but itll do just fine with cats |
Hes going to be an outsider in the next flick for sure and he'll be attracted to catwoman due to her outsideresque demeanor. Next film is the defining one for the series. The first 2 previous batmans were good, third was mediocre at best.

I also liked Fox comment about cats, although I can't agree completely with the statement, you see, there are some cats that would make the worlds most brutal dog behave like a chiwawa.
just wondering how would the suit hold against this little cat

I'd like to see the Riddler. But not the Jim Carry version type. Like a twisted, demented riddler. Like how they did it with the joker in this film

@Ronhrin - I think you missed my point, I was saying that he was setting up the catwoman scenario, not that its ACTUALLY good against cats ! IE, her whip and claws

Wanted - 7/10
Enjoyed it, so did the GF. Really fun if you just ignore the fact that bullets cant do 360's and physics can switch on and off randomly during the film. A no-brainer action flick that looks great.

you forgot mr. freeze
Though the way these movies are going with being as realistic as possible, I'd like to see how they pulled him off, or poison ivy for that matter.

well, they could have a guy that shoots liquid nitrogen or something like that from some kinda jerry rigged blow torch. I dont know how they would explain him being like frozen all the time tho if they are trying to stick to realism

wanted 7.5/10
really enjoyable movie - lots of familiar faces too. looking forward too it in 1080, one of the most enjoyable films of the year for me - realism right out the window and good fucking riddance. had a great time watching it, laughed heaps (specially flipping the car onto the side of the bus, or over the limo... fucking awesome), and one hell of a fucking good battle at the end. really enjoyable film
