Supposedly it happened sometime after the debut of the new batman movie |
he turned himself in, he was never arrested. and it was before the london premiere. |
oh, guess the news channel got it wrong.
Still, beating your sister and your mother, thats a horrible thing to do.

well, as far as i know, he did attack his sister and mother. To what extreme I dont know. But he did attack his sister and mother. Thats not a cool thing to do. Especially when your rich enough to send them to the other side of the world if they bother you that much

really depends what you consider an attack, I do agree about it being wrong though... atleast the mother part. I've actually hit my sister pretty hard before because she stabbed me with a fork (seriously), I just turned around and beat the fuck out of her lol.

It was a dispute over money. He's been estranged from his family most of his life, and now they come asking for money.

First i heard it was just a verbal assault. Nothing physical. Now it's physical?

heh, I'd be angry to.
I make it big and then asshole family members come begging for money. Now I understand why he did what he did.
If that is the case, i hope he gets off on the charge.
Im sure i would have a few family members and friends who would come begging if I hit the jackpot you know? I'd laugh and tell em to fuck right off

Nouse, Mummy 3 is coming soon, you can waste the ticket on that.
BTW, about Bale, where did you guys hear it was physical? No one said that. And it weren't the mother and sister who called the police. Probably some old couple were drinking a cup of tea, and Bale yelled at his mother, thus disturbing their cup of tea, so the called the police to quietly have another cup of tea. (<- When reading this, image the "cup of tea" part with heavy, thick old British accent).

Les Visiteurs (1993)- 8/10
Saw it long time ago but started talking about it at lunch yesterday (2 guys at work are French and Swiss) so I simply had to see it again. Probably the best role that Clavier ever done "Jacquouille la Fripouille"), man does he do a medieval peasant perfect .

The Bank Job 6/10 - Not exactly original who-gets-who-and-what storyline in the line of Lock, Stock and Snatch, but still quite entertaining. Statham typecast again.
Doomsday 2/10 - What a pretentious stupid flick. Action scenes are crappy and not very well thought through, acting is of course non-existant. It is a bit involuntary funny now and then because it's so damn stupid, but otherwise a very quickly forgotten movie.
The Dark Knight 10/10 - Totally fucking awesome. This has everything I want in a superhero movie (but really, Batman/Bruce is an anti-hero). Great continuation from Batman Begins, that is not just recycled material, Dark Knight has a much different pacing. A great plot that tops the first one, deep characters, intense action, and a sublime score. Not to mention the insanely brilliant performance of Heath Ledger. I have never before seen such a vile psychopath on screen, he tops everything. I agree with Michael Caine about Heath:
Quote: | It's Sir Michael Caine's opinion that Heath Ledger beat the odds and topped Jack Nicholson's Joker from Batman (1989): "Jack was like a clown figure, benign but wicked, maybe a killer old uncle. He could be funny and make you laugh. Heath's gone in a completely different direction to Jack, he's like a really scary psychopath. He's a lovely guy and his Joker is going to be a hell of a revelation in this picture." Caine bases this belief on a scene where the Joker pays a visit to Bruce Wayne's penthouse. He'd never met Ledger before, so when Ledger arrived and performed he gave Caine such a fright he forgot his lines. |

Hellboy 8/10 - Nice superhero movie.
The dark knight 9/10 - Found it too slow paced in the beginning, still prefered Batman Begins.
Hopefully Nolan won't make another Batman movie and will start looking for new concepts to make kickass movies about.

Oh yeah, just cause it says based on real events means it's like in the movie. Right.
'Original' points to the plot device at hand.

Besides the penguin (who's too grotesque in order to be in such movie) and the catwoman who suffers from awful reputation since halley berry, there aren't any cool villains left to make a new movie with anyway.
The prestige was a kickass movie, so there's much to anticipate from him.

Riddler? Clayface (how dark could that be)? Catwoman? Penguin is perfectly suited. He did scarecrow afterall.... I think there is a lot left for Nolan to do, and he LOVES the series.

Bane ? Deadshot ? Hush or Even the Riddler
buuut i think a sequel to TDK surely would have involved The Joker , you simply can't ignore a character like that , afterall he's Batman's opposite , his arch enemy .
If i remember correctly there was Nr. in which Joker thought that Batman was dead and his life returned to normal , no more make-up , he got a job and started living a normal life , upon hearing that Batman was alive on the news he took a blade and started carving himself a new smile while laughing , sadly with no more HL this would suck cause another actor would have some pretty big shoes to fill
just a little reminder and SPOILER! :
The guy that knew who Batman was , his name was Mr. Reese .. -> Mysteries
