Actually to get Paypal accept Russian debit / credit cards is a PITA. So, western union remains the only stable option.
In my case I can't get Paypal to work because my bank denies every transactions to / from them due to security risks from Paypal side
So one need to keep issue cards in different banks. And there is no guarantee that Paypal will work after card expires and need to be re-issued

I'm just saying you should give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
sure, not paying on time is a really lousy thing to do, especially given he knew your particular situation ... probably an oversight he though nobody would really care about or he left for a vacation or whatever.
I just doubt he left over this. Actually the idea was pretty sound, pay someone less for what you are already getting paid for.

He could of been scammed himself. Sometimes scams pay out a couple of times to get you to trust them.

That is the risk you take working online. Ive known of clients who work with you for months, pay you like a pretty fiend. Then they offer you a big project and you byte like a fish to a maggot..
Then you complete it and send the files and the fuck you in the ass with a mallet.
I dont think vodka was the type, though.

Well - my take on it is this:
Unforeseen circumstances crop up occasionally. That's fine - given that this technically wasn't a "legal" job in the sense that none of us were officially employees, I'm willing to cut some slack on the time and actual amount of payment. It was nice enough of him to give us the opportunity to work.
That said, you do NOT jerk someone's chain every single week with out and out lies for over two months. Every week it was "next week".If you can't pay, or are not going to pay - at least be man enough to admit it and move on. Don't lie to people repeatedly like that. I don't take kindly to getting jerked around.
As for the amount in question - he offered $60 per hour of footage (not counting credits or dead-space). I did 6h 25m worth (raw count) - so lets do a conservative estimate and say that roughly 1h 25m worth of the footage were credits and dead space. That leaves 5 hours. While $300 isn't going to break the bank, its still quite a substantial amount of money to some of us (myself included).
At this point I really don't give a shit anymore. I just wanted others to know so that they wouldn't suffer the same fate in the future.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I remember when i first read this back in may, i thought it would be great since i need money and it sounded easy enough, and i speak fluent English. But then i saw he would only accept native speakers, no matter how good your English skills were. Now that the truth is out i'm glad i didn't bother.
Oh and by the way, Vodka, you're a fucking cunt. I realise there might be unforeseen events that can cause delays in getting people their payment, but never several months. It's clear that you have no intention of paying these people for their work. You're also a lazy piece of shit. You get payed over $60 per hour to do a job that takes hardly any effort at all and you can't even be bothered to do it yourself, and instead trick others into doing it for you. Then you have the sheer audacity to not give them their money. You didn't even have to do any fucking work. Even if you pay them, you're still getting free money for no effort. And despite that, you're so fucking greedy that you just keep it all for yourself. Well, there's an important lesson to be learned here.
And that's that you can milk a cow many times, but you can only skin it once. You may have made a short term profit, but you've effectively fucked yourself out of a perpetual income stream that required no effort at all on your part. Nice going, dipshit.

Well Serben sadly you got one thing wrong. He can still easily scam countless people all over the net. Why he ever scammed on a forum he was respected and spent allot of time on just shows how greedy he really is too. If he will do it here he will do it everywhere. Hes milking the cow.

I would much rather him to man up and tell me what really happened and I would certainly forgive him if he did. However his current behavior is cowardly and he deserves no respect from me at this time.

Ya, I totally agree but he prob doesn't know that.
It could be a hard thing to come forward or 'manup' in public. If the choice was mine when I was younger I prob would of done the wrong thing too. Glad too see you want to let it go.

No payment and there never will be. He clearly didn't care about his reputation on the boards enough to resist scamming us. What really gets me is he could have done the scam anywhere and found people willing to fall for it and yet he still did it here a forum that he spent allot of time on and was part of the community. Guess he hid his true personality this whole time.

Oh I'm sure it's really him, and everything he's told us / pics he's posted have been legit.
I imagine that what happened was he had some grand scheme to get people to do his work for less than he was paid and then he would collect big $$$. This probably didn't work out and now he doesn't want to pay the people who did the work since it has to come out of his own pocket. So he made the decision to abandon ship rather than pay a few hundred dollars.
In any case I am sure he is reading this forum, but will never be heard from again.

I was thinking about this the other day because my wife once again said "looks like to still haven't gotten paid" like a bitch... anyways what if he got caught in his little scheme by his employer? Surely he submitted the work and with to many people doing it would make it clear that its not from one person. Someone could have done a terrible job or several people could have had several common spelling errors for certain words while other's could have never had a single error. I'm sure his employer wouldn't be to happy to find out hes subcontracting the work out that was only meant for him.
So he may have never gotten paid and certainly doesn't wish to pay out and make a complete loss so he decides to just disappear rather then face up to us. I am in no way excusing his actions and do believe that he should hold up his end up the deal no matter what however and hes certainly has lost my respect.
Vodka-Redbull if your still here and reading the forum I just want you to know that I forgive you and am no longer upset with you. Even if you meant to scam us I simply don't care anymore I'm past it. You still however have lost my respect from your actions.
