Yes it's a big deal because obviously it's not PROPER. It is still not working as it shuld.

The word PROPER has a meaning you know. And the meaning is hardly kinda-working.

You guys are not the brightest at times, that's for sure Smile
The thing is not how you can fix it (we all know how you fix it by now), the thing is it says PROPER.
Look the word PROPER up because you obviously dont understand it.
So if people want a proper they can just stick with what they already got (they are more or less identical) because this still isn't PROPER and then wait for a release which is PROPER.

the ai disable problem got nothing to do with the cracked version even the people with the original dvd version got this problem...

I have the DVD, have played a fair bit of it, and have never seen this problem. Maybe the proper will be ok for some people and not others if it's a game issue?

No they sure dont. I know plenty of people that bought this game and they certinaly do not have that error. Smile
That would be a very lame misstake by valve if the bought version had that.
And im quite sure that valve would have released a small update instantly if that was the case.

would adding a setting in the config.cfg file (ai_disable 0) work? so evertime the game starts up, is execs that line?

That should already be set at load time anyway otherwise the game would start like with no AI. The problem is that it turns off the AI when you reload.

Ook.... sooooooooooo..... clear words now people. This Emporio PROPER... is it ANY different from the Half-Life_2.WORKING-AXPi version?? Any difference at all? If it still has the ai_disable thing....... and i already have the axpi version...... whats the point in downloading it? (besides, this is NOT a proper if it is not working exactly as retail, emporio sucks unbelieveably if this is true) Thanks.

Dear NFOrce Community!

I'm tired, and way to old, to follow all that HL2-Sh*t, i ain't gonna buy it, because Vulva... ehhh.. Valve, and the whole steam-thing basicly s*cks.

So i decided to skip this one.
Maybe my brother or nephew (they bought it!!! TOOO!) lend it to me, after they are through with it.
I hope that GabeGuy will burst like a bubble, after eating all that money he earned with the best Game ever

Right now i'm busy playing Bloodlines, which is an RPG ( "Role Playing Game")
and the sun shines for every minute i play it.

He's right..its the same release but not 4gig...still have the NOD rebuilding shit and AI still fucked up. Yes its true that you can use ai_disable 0 but if the AI disable himself near an interaction meaning where you need people to help you out and you enable it with ai_disable 0, they will come back but only for a few seconds and then stand there without moving or do what they are suppose to do so you are fuckin screwed and need to go back to previous saves...atleast 15 minutes behind to make it work.

So in conclusion this release is useless if you have the previous one.

O well, will try the Proper.Offline.Nosteam-AHU version tomorrow, if that one works as someone here and that forum already said, without the node rebuilding nor the ai disable things.. i will be happy

Well you got yourself a messed up release cause in my main folder i have bin, hl2, platform, reslists as folders, hl2.exe and launcher.exe...probably a bittorent Wink

There are some minor differences between the legit steam version and this unofficial offline no-steam mode.
Having played them both here's what I've discovered:

first, the bad things about steam offline/warez version:
legit steam versions should not have these problems.

1. you get this "Graphic Node Updated" thingy on each level start up. regular steamed version doesn't have that prob. it's a little annoying but no biggie.

2. the power aux meter is always red, legit steam version is green at full power then turn to red when near empty. (no biggies either)

3. secondary ammo number does not show. in steam version it shows how many granades you have left in both your machine guns.

4. team member HUD info is not always accurate, ie: you have 4 member following you, but only 3 shows up on the HUD display. again, steam version is fine.

5. A.I. disabled on load saved games. you can resume it by using the console. starting a new game works fine though.

Are these problems happen in the Emporio proper version as well Question
