Maybe you could ask such questions in the Operating Systems section?
No offense, just a hint.

Why do you people have any need for a recycle bin? Ever since the first day I got my first computer, I've disabled my recycle bin, there's no need for it. If I want to delete something, I delete it, but I don't delete stuff that I'm not sure I want to delete.
It just feels stupid to have to delete something, and then right click the bin and delete it there as well... Just seems stupid to me. o.O
And lets say, you delete something, and you want to be sure you can take it back if you change your mind, why do you even bother deleting it? Why not let it be and delete it once you're sure you want to rid yourself of it?
(I'm not trying to piss any one off, I'm just genuinely curious as this has been baffling me for a long time.) |
There are many times when you accidentally press delete on something that you don't want to delete. Yep shit happens, so the recycle bin is like a second safety for such accident.

yeah, thats what I was going to say.
Sometimes if I select say a bunch rar files for a certain movie or game or whatever and i happen to catch a rar file in the box i need and I delete it, I can just take it out of the the recycling bin.
Like mark said, its a back up in case you fuck up by accident, which I do quite often lol

Nowadays I just disable the recycle bin for all disks... I guess I'm careful enough.
