Okay, I'm calling for any mod seeing this to lock this topic. The few past pages have been filled with useless posts such as "why is not out yet" and "i want it noooooow" and "Y NO KRAX" and so on. Let's all use it to get our post count up, shall we?

*Sigh* My suggestion, lock until a release. Unless we call this a "game thread" instead of a "release thread" and just cut all the speculations and release/crack talks.

Just buy the game you cheap fucks! These devs actually go so far as to fix individual bugs that people mail them. I mailed them about a bug related to buildings, and they said they'd fix it in an upcoming patch. How many devs give that kind of support? The game may be buggy now, but it's still the best country sim i've ever played. And once they fix the bugs i'll achieve perfect harmony with the entire universe. So fucking buy it.

Gigabyte S-Series GA-G33-DS3R, Intel C2D Quad Q6600 OC @ 3.2Ghz, 4gb Kingston PC8500 1066Mhz DDR2, Geforce 7800GTX (will get a 9800GTX when they are released), 2 x 250Gb HD's and a case with built in paper and lotion dispenser.

Commander in chief (us retail version) costs 40 instead of 60 us dollar... The point is not about buying or not buying, the point is give us a trial, let us try before buy, especially when you price it up to 60 dollar.

and... fixing bug is their responsibility, just that most of the dev today don't do their job properly, it doesnt mean "willing to fix the bugS" should be a reason to buy a game.

I actually think this is a game that might very well be worth buying, and I'm stongly considering it. However, as others have stated, I'm not so inclined to buy a game for 60$ without even getting a demo or trail first.

It's not their fault the game costs $60. They only charge €39.95 for it. The reason it costs $60 is because the dollar is worthless. That's Bush's fault, not their's. If they only charged $30 for it, they wouldn't make any profit since they still have to pay their employees and other expenses in €uros.

I didn't say it is their fault. The point is, who would spend 60 on something which i know i can get for just 30, execpt political sim hardcore fans or those who can afford it.

Still, even if it is priced for 30, i would love to see a trial.

Did you buy the retail version (Commander in Chief) or the download version (G.P.S.)?
If you bought the retail version, can you tell us what protection it uses?

Yeah, and tell us what the difference is. Report any bugs you find. I want to know if the same bugs are in CIC as in GPS.

Wish they would make a downloadable version on their site with the proper pricing. I ain't paying 60 bucks for a bug-ridden indie game.
