Alright, it seems like my old router broke down, it was as a belkin so now i need some advice regarding the best brands in the "router" business.
So far i've thought of going with a netgear/D-link/linksys router, i don't want a router that is to expensive but i don't want one that is to cheap either, the router should have both wireless and with wire.
That's about it so if you guys could recommend me some good and medium priced routers i'd really appreciate it.

Netgear is horrible, D-link is borderline unstable in my experience.
You can't go wrong with Linksys/Cisco, they make great routers.
Linksys WRT54GL is nice.
I use the Linksys WAG200G here at home at the moment, but that's a router-modem.

Don't buy Netgear. That is all i have to say.

I used to have a DLink DI-604, it sucked at first ,connection died quite often for some reason and had to restart the router to get it to work again, but after I did a firmware upgrade it was very reliable and worked great.
Until it was owned by lightning anyway...
so now I have a Linksys BEFSR41 (35 euros) and it works very well out of the box. No problems yet, it's been connected 24/7 for for 2 or 3 months now.

i'd go for one which you can flash with open-source firmware
personally i use several whr-hp-g54's from buffalo flashed with dd-wrt from www.dd-wrt.com it's got a built-in amplifier and is a very good quality reasonably cheap piece of kit.
