I think the guy beside me was on crack or something. He couldn't sit still and had the jitters and was clicking his tongue.
Yeah, what is with people when they go to the movies. I had a similar experience while watching this movie, the guy next to me could not sit still, and he kept checking his phone every 10 minutes... I wanted to slap him in the face
watched Wall-E yesterday and today , and boy it was something 10/10 and fuck the rest .
Really really loved it , the characters and the story and how it was put on screen , Pixar really did something special with this . You really bondid with the characters and felt for them , even if they werent saying anything as meaninful as their actions were . Wall-E was just so easy to relate to and Eve was so adorable . Nice cinematography and for the first time Pixar really showed a movie with Direction , Roger Deakins really helped with the visuals for this movie .
Great story , loved the sad parts and some elements like SPOILER : When the captain decided to take action against Auto and he looked at the pictures with past captains and in evey picture Auto was closer and closer .
The dramatic element was really kicking and they disquisted mature themes into a simple yet astonishing movie.
Thomas Newman was perfectly chosen to the score , he did the dramatic cues as good as in any other oscar nominated movies he's done , Shawshank , Green Mile , Road to Perdition etc .
Up until now my favorite animated flick was The Iron Giant , now it's Wall-E
best movie of 2008 sofar , 2nd best is In Bruges.
PS
Watched the prevail cam and it's a really good cam , even if in some sequences its out of sync it catches up after a while , but it's no biggie.
