Beta ends tommorow by the way Sad

Today, Blizzard Entertainment announced that World of Warcraft, its hotly anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game, will ship on November 23 in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. The game will be released in Korea and Europe shortly thereafter, though no dates were specified.

NO DATES WERE FUCKING SPECIFIED!?

Basically that means "we'll release it when we can be bothered, no rush though".

Sad

Don't worry mate... It will likely be imported within 24 hours of official release, maybe on the same day. You can still count on November 23rd, although you might have to put up with American servers, the lag associated with them, and american tech support.

OTOH, being in the U.S. just got that much sweeter Very Happy

Buy online Smile! Should be able to play it no problem, Ive done it with a number of MMORPG's as you tend to be able to download the client and buy an account with very little trouble Smile

Boooorrriiinnnnnggggg MM. Talk about force feeding you content and levels. Where are the days of actually taking time to level to appreciate the high level content? And mature engrossing lore?

Oh wait, its in everquest 2. Go play that.

WoW lacks so much and has too much of not enough. I hate you blizzard, with a passion, one day, people will realize you really arent blizzard anymore, and that it died with Roper leaving.

Overall 7.5/10

Good game, but overhyped, undergraphics'd, shitty boring content and irritating playerbase.

Just because I feel the need to add some base to my opinion, Ive played...

Ultima Online, Everquest, Asherons Call, Dark Age of Camelot, Neocron, Anarchy Online, EVE Online, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Asherons Call 2, Everquest 2, World Of Warcraft (Beta).

nough said, i loved it and gonna buy it on tues, great quests, love the "hand feeding" love the graphics style, because it MATCHES THE WOLRD OF WARCRAFT STYLE. Very simple, you can get into it and get higher levels without neglecting yohur social life.

Indeed. I guess therein lies the problem. EQ2 isnt for noobs, and thus the gap forms between the games and my hatred for WoW continues.

$15. That's basically the norm for MMO games now.

Is that an inflamatory comment? Razz

My *newb* friend tried to play it and couldn't.

I am currently playing EQ2, and the playability is through the roof for an experienced MM'er.

Well you're a experienced MM'er so you'd love EQ2. I'm going with WoW. I've played the beta and loved it. I'm not too much into MMO games but I'm not a newb in them. I've played a handful of beta/free trials for them. Another reason why I won't get EQ2 is because it would probably run like shit on my comp.

This is true. EQ2 also requires you pretty much to have a good machine. WoW doesn't another reason why some might choose WoW, but of course if you have a good machine, the graphics on EQ2 are through the roof. SS Incoming :O
