Sorry Dingo, something I can't do. Being on equal terms with the trolls of Nforce isn't for me.I'm their better and I can't stand by watching them pull the forums apart piece by piece.
That's certainly not for me.
I tried my best, really I did.
It was to no effort in the end.
I'll say good by to the people that deserve it via PM and I'm sure you'll be incuded. Heh it won't even be a cut and paste effort either. Each good bye will have my personal touch.
Anything less would make me be an uncaring bitch. Something I certainly am not.
Although it may take me a few weeks providing I'm not banned by the less deserving mod on thr forum. I'm sure you can guess who that is.
But not one to turn this final post into a political thread. Yes even Nforce has it's politics I'm sad to say. The mods are great here. I hope they can find someone as impartial to replace me. Even though at times I wasn't impartial.
But still, I can't be impartial at times. I just like you have feelings. Some things just I can't ignore.

Not a comment I can respect, sorry. Just because you are mod doesn't make you a better person. Same with VIP. Acting better does make you a better person. Less people acting good = win for trolls. |

Now this sucks big time... This act has proven that the quality of Nforce has sunk below zero... mods being stripped of their powers, trolls flooding in... sad indeed. I really hope all will be corrected. Admins aren't always here, but I hope some of them come in soon... I really wouldn't like to see an old time member leave...

Granted. It can be hard to voice your opinion -sometimes taking sides- while being a mod, a position which rather ask you to remain outside any polemic. wow... that ban jenni did to that guy was pure comedy at its best. I think it was a comical joke and we should all be laughing. I did not think banning a man for his real life choices was possible. That said I never had an issue with jenni that I recall. Then again I drink far too much to remember past a week.

I'm very sorry to see Jenni go..
Firstly because a large number of the current mods (myself included) have had a huge amount going on IRL at the moment and have almost 0 time to give to the forum, more so when idiots spam the place with shit, something Jenni was very good at dealing with. She has given a huge amount to the forum since she became a mod, bordering on razor1394 awesomeness (for those who remember him..).
But mostly because I do believe Jenni is a good person, despite any actions she may have taken that I disagreed with (some which I certainly remember clashing over in our hidden little sections) I always respected the fact that those actions were taken with the best intentions at heart. The same goes for this. Whilst I certainly don't agree with the statements she made I'm 100% sure they were not made with racist connotations.
This forum will suffer without her and I know she will be missed.

Well you've got your wish. The most active mod has gone now and really why should I care. But I do. Moderation of these forums is an art and a thankless task. Yes I may have gotten emotionally involved at times but who can blame me?
That's not to say I didn't enjoy being a mod of these deteriorating forums as long as it lasted. I did. But when I'm being undermined as a mod by people like The Saint, when really I'm just doing my best for the community as a whole.
Well as much as I love being a part of Nforce (it will always be nforce for me) I have to leave. Simply because you can destroy the forums with you guttersniping and I can't do anywthing about it.
I still remember when we first crossed paths. You posted a pic about me which you defaced. We couldn't edit back then, so I had to go back to the host site to make you look like an idiot.I got one up on you back then and you've had it in for me since then.
I'll also say that I stand by every ban I've ever made bar none. I did it for the great people here that I've made such good friends with. It so saddens me that you'll have a free hand to lower the forums just that little bit more. Make them less worthy of the title they're so deserving for. A friendly place to chat. Well that's no more, thanks to you and your cronies.
I'll say good bye to the people that have shared the forums with individually because that would only be the respectful thing to do, because internet or not that's the type of person I am. Fair, honest and certainly not judging of the race creed or colour.

But i couldn't do anything since you hadn't created enough hostility towards yourself yet. Hell, even Sycoshaman tried to get you banned once but failed. He even PM'd me and asked me if i would back him up on it. I can send them if you like. Then i saw that more and more people were getting pissed at you so i decided to press the issue. You brought it all on yourself. If so many people didn't dislike you, my poll and everything else would never have succeeded in bringing you down. But i don't know where the fuck you got the idea that i defaced your pic because that never happened.

me, as a long term observer (don't get me wrong here ), think it is sad to see that a good mod leaves this place. Although Jenni had/has a very strong opinion and maybe she pushed it too far sometimes, i think its not really comprehend to ban here from her mod status. What i mean is, that most people on this forum are taking things around here way to serious. If you get offended by ppl you don't even fucking know (and this goes both ways) only from a silly blue looking forum, I really wonder what kind of people are behind those pc screens. (6 year olds?) Course i know, and i cant talk for myself, that many people here know eachother from pms, msn, irc and what not. But those are just e-friends and are nice to talk with, if you're bored. You all should know the difference...
Folks, all take a chill pill and make some fun ffs, i'm getting sick of all the kiddie drama around here.

I think Jenni was a great mod. I think she put more work into this place than any other mod. She has the experience gaming and the like, in personal life, job, and being a good mom on top with a husband away on duty serving his country. That is a lot. Who the else can claim that?
Her opinions meant something on here.

Well pistolshrimp I agree that she put allot of time into these forums and she did indeed get rid of spam and do those duties. However she clearly used her power in abusive ways. Throwing your support behind someone who blatantly abuses power is never a good idea because it will only enable their wrong doings even more. Sadly this means that her flaws outweigh her good deeds when it comes to being judged in this manner.
Also I fail to see how her personal life should even come to play in this... It doesn't have anything to do with this board or how it functions nor does it excuse her actions. Lawyers often try to use that same defense to butter up jury's into feeling guilty about punishing the criminal.

Abusive? Such a loaded word for your own purpose. How abusive can a forum be? (maybe I shouldn’t ask that cuz I have a feeling I don’t want to hear.) Of all of the abusive places to be, this is NOT THE one. ANYONE CAN LEAVE, it is not like real life.
Mods don't have to explain themselves. jenni did more than that.
Sometimes I swear BULLSHIT makes the world go around.
People met each other at the water cooler every day at work. What do we talk about? Our life. Our experiences, disappointment, joys, excitement, troubles, hates, dislikes, and sometimes... A lot of BULLSHIT.
To me sharing your personal life really puts you out there. For everyone to hit and make fun of. Jenni knows how to balance that. AND put them in their place too. I could never do that quite like her.
So ya, when someone I met talks honestly to me without anything to gain it means a lot. Sometimes talking about your family does come into it with the people you really trust.
About this personal life and lawyers using it as a tactic I have no idea. I don’t understand what you are saying?

Jenni was a very good moderator in my opinion . The only bad thing I could possibly say about her as a mod is that she sometimes let her own opinion of people affect her moderating. Being too harsh on some, and too lenient for others.
I know I've posted more than a lot of drunken crap shit posts here on nforce, which should have gotten me banned more than once. If you read and put up with one of those posts without banning me, I apologise for them and ofc appreciate your non-action.
If you decide to leave like you seem to indicate, thank you for all the great work you've done here.<3

The fact hfric made the many accounts he had is irrelevant, she fought to get him back as she had mentioned. The fact what set her off is a personal feeling of her not being voted on in a GAME. She knew exactly who he was at the time and was only banned for the pfft jenni and she even admitted to it.
It's always been her opinion above everyone elses. Her less than creative attacks making her want to gloat like she had something intelligent to say.

i think jenni is a good mod and should still be one.

If the admins really want to change the situation they shouldnt kick out mods, but rather change the way bans work. Have for example a 2 out of 3 rule for voting on people to be permanently banned. AND THEN LET THEM STAY BANNED, and not give people like juba a get-out-of-jail free card every time he needs it.
But this is not a thread about the trolls, but rather about jenni. And she is one of the few mods who i feel have made an impact on the community here as few others have. I m not sure where all the hate comes from, but she certainly doesnt deserve it, as she is far from bad modding examples like fro from isonews, when she has a bad day. On her good days, she is nothing less than a great mod.
