First of all, I very much doubt that Jenni is referring to immigrants from eg. germany, sweden, france, or similar - she's really referring to "them", the ones with brown skin who speak or have an Indian, pakistan, or arab descent. But she doesn't outright say it, because that would be too damned obvious, no one wants to be accused of racism. "I'm not a racist, but..."
Also, it's in the semantics - for some reason a person with brown skin working in a country and paying taxes is a "leech", while someone (who is white) and preferably from that country is not.
Really, Jenni. You're a pro-colonialist, you are against immigration (especially from "brown people", you've stated previously that you think Indians are a filthy people (and India a filthy country). How much more obvious do you need to be before you live up to your own definition of being a racist, short of wearing an SS-uniform and a swastika? |

How many times it's have I said thay it's not down to race. Just ask Deelix if I've been racist against him, I know what the answer will be already. It's simply economics.
As for my husband, well yeah he works in another country. He pays his taxes there though.
If he comes into Europe more than a couple of weeks a year he has to pay an unearthly amount. That is a disgrace.
I have no problem people coming here. If they pay their taxes and respect the country. When people like Under come here pay nothing towards their education then insult the country and the people of the UK, then you can be sure as hell I get annoyed. As I said, if he doesn't like it then he can leave. He won't be missed.
Cheese's post was insulting and derogatory and was ban worthy. It stays.
Someone reported Serben's post which Rinze left to me. I could have edited his post or warned him. I could have banned him. But I believe everyone should have their views expressed if they're not insulting.
My "mod powers" are not up for discussion Shadow. As I previously said, Rinze has seen the thread and has said nothing to me.

No a complete loss of mod powers needs to take place. A mod that believes that he/she is above the rules while banning people for bogus reasons and then turning around and basically doing the same action is unacceptable. I do not believe she should be temp banned for her comment as she has a right to her own opinion no matter how unpopular. However I do believe she deserves to be stripped of mod powers and receive a equal length temp ban she unjustly given. |
Hell yeah, i agree. But my poll about it got closed  However, before it did, about 24 people voted on it, and most of them voted for her losing her powers. So hopefully it will finally happen.

People will always vote to get a mod removed. Besides we only have your word on that don't we.
No more discussion of my mod status on the forums. You don't question any other mod decisions on here and I believe that my position is only in question because I'm indeed female and some men can't take having a woman in a higher position.

Then how come the majority of the people who voted in my poll voted for you to get banned/stripped of your mod powers? That is, before you deleted it? What's the matter? Can't take the heat? Or is everyone else wrong, and you're the only one who's right?
