What is there to explain? I now watched 20 min gameplay video in 720p for the 5th time and loved it every single time. I love how the game looks. I love how SC2 looks and I love how WoW and WC3/TFT looks.

Wow... I possibly talked to someone who wasn't full of it a couple years back. . .
"All I know (and I have told this story before) is that i talked to a guy year before last who claimed his brother worked for Blizzard and that Diablo III had been in the works for a while in secret. We go to talking because we both played Fate. I was telling him how I really loved the pets in Fate and he said they had been looking at that as well in Diablo III. Now, there were other things said and evidence given. I still took it with a grain of salt. . . who knows. i hope he wasn't an expert BS'er. But i have met plenty of them."
I was excited to eharthe news and even more so after watching the demo footage. Looks really great.
Here's hoping that it wont be 2 years before we see it.
FINALLY. . . a game I can REALLy look forward to.

I'm actually surprise how many people are gonna buy this game there, including me. These Blizz guy are damn good, with all these teases : we want to buy their game so bad.
Npiracy will be happy that we don't buy crappy game.

lawl, yeah I'm gonna buy it too, even the collectors edition. No money was better invested than in D2 and LoD 8 years ago, about 60€ back then for both together, and played it sooo much those 8 years.
If I'd have spent the same time at a cinema watching movies I'd not only be piss broke, I could have easily bought the entire cinema from that money.
Maybe I should buy 3 or 4 collectors editions just for that.

I agree. Diablo I and II are the most played games I have ever owned I do believe. Apart from Everquest.

Just now I played 3 hours on battle.net again with two friends. Started up new chars on the new ladder because of all the hype. Another easy 20 bucks if I'd been at a movie theatre.

You know, if there is one game that could bring Computers back to the forefront as far as gaming goes, this one would be a good contender. I can't even begin to imagine the possible amount of copies this thing could sell.

wow, quite an evolution this...when D2 was around, I used to be a sworn rpg player, spending nights over them. Now I dont even bother reading past the title if the game's an rpg. No wonder I was totally out of the loop when I got to work and my coworkers asked me about the greatest announcement of 2008. All I could think of was maybe Hillary is going to be Obama's running mate!!!

And that is why they choose to show of the lesser of the inventory systems? Sorry, doesn't make sense to me. Maybe they are just going with the times, even if that means dumbed down interfaces. |

I too like the inventory more in which certain items take up more slots, not done do make a ring count as much as a sword/axe or armor, but they can probably change this in the coming two years

Starcraft 2 (next year)
Diablo 3 (2010 I am sad to say)

I think they will make their money with D3! I know I will be buying this game. I have bought every Diablo game to date. This is exceptional gaming and quality, the devs deserve my money.

Dang i played some Titan Quest to ease the longing for D3, and was reminded why i dont like arpgs. Just click, click, click until your finger bleeds and your mouse is fucked. My God what a boring game that Titan Quest. Hopefully D3 will be better.
Someone on gamespot forum was excited about the release date being 31/12/08 but no word where he got this date...
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

I am just looking for something similar to play. Started playing Diablo LoD yesterday, having fun! I also received an email from Flagship Studio in regards to Mythos. I logged back on last night and they have done a lot with this game. Been glued to it for 3 hours now. Just got a shotgun than hit multiple enemies at once, very nice. This is going to be a sleeper, kind of coming in under the radar. Very nice game so far!
