Yea wouldnt surprise me one bit, its sad really. You could get the most awesome films out of Garth Ennis' Punisher MAX comics.

yup, too bad the cgi sucked back then. the last punisher (thomas jane) did a great job aswell, but the new one (ray stevenson).. omfg. from the teaser this could be some friggin' jean-claude van damme-90s-movie. this sux big time. the theme might have potential but with such a cast it can only become a garbage-flick.

Hey, leave Van Damme out of this!
Too bad they switched though the last punisher wasn't too bad, it was at least as violent as it should have been. The scene right in the beginning where the truck runs over the wfe and son actually shook me up a little.

i dunno which punisher trailer i saw, but im a tad worried... initially the still images i saw, and what LOOKED like a more gritty look, i thought was all shaping up to be pretty cool... then the trailer, i dunno... looked like hitman to me.. a bit too lightweight and silly... did i really see him hanging upside down from a chandalier, firing his guns??
i will say i quite liked janes punisher, and would have loved to see them continue with him in the main role, i think he did quite well.

i really hope they wont go all Fox on it and turn it into pg-13 cartoon action...aslong as they keep it decently gritty and Punisher-ish, it will be a good pew pew kabOOM movie...
saw a trailer, and it sadly tasted likeHitmans trailer on some parts... fssss i hope it wont turn out that horrible

8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

the video game was very violent + with an uncensor patch it made it even more
I like the darkness of the punisher the way he's silent and alone with all those weapons
the 2004 movie wasn't that great hopefuly this one is better

the fact they went all out with the finishing moves and special finishers with no hold back made me love those devs. I loved the cieling fan and rhino finishers the best. |

At least looks-wise Stevenson fits the part way better than Jane did; hope the movie will be good, too. Punisher deserves it.

Welll fact is the MAX prints (which the film supposedly is based on) are indeed as violent as the red band showed us.
