"Recently, one of the HL2Files.com members here, alerted me of a pirated warez version of Half-Life 2, apparently released via the Bittorent network. I immediately, forwarded this to Gabe Newell of VALVe Software. A couple of hours later, Gabe replied with the following:
We're running a bit of an experiment. We're keeping track of the accounts that do this and will be shutting them off.
So, as you can see, VALVe Software have released a test "warez" version aimed at catching people out. These people will have their accounts deleted and will be banned from Steam."

What do you mean, not the repack? The original cackfix by ape or only part of that crackfix or part of the repack crackfix?

I havent tryed the repack, I was only voicing what has worked in my experiance.
I didnt want to say "with the ape fix" as I have heard of people having problems with the repack.

If I change the date back to Nov 16th the AI works fine for me
from Nov 18th on I get Node Graph Date Error -> AI bye bye
4GB i7 860 @3.0 GTX275 AMP

Didn't you know? The City 17 guards and a lot of the monsters have a short vacation between the 18th and the 22nd...

This release works with or without fix;more, who has this release should change the attributes of all files from hl2 folder from 'read only'.
I think some warez are paid to shut up.

So the Emporio Release works fine with the exception of once in a while hitting AI_disable 0, correct? other than that it works great? also how often do you have to hit this?
