The seller I bought my PS3 from had 100% positive feedback with a score of 330.
I figured this was pretty pristine and I had nothing to worry about.

The auction ended last Sunday, I payed instantly via Paypal.
I sent him a message regarding the receipt for it, he said he would try to get it on Monday, but would definitely ship the unit out by Tuesday.

He never sent me a goddamn tracking number.
I sent him a message 3 times on that Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday asking for a tracking number or just to fucking confirm he had even shipped it.

No response.

It's been a week now and still no fucking PS3 and no message or anything from this guy.

He is putting new auctions up for sale, and leaving feedback on other people's pages, so I know he's just giving me the cold shoulder.

Sent him one more request today. If the PS3 doesn't get in by tomorrow - what the fuck should I do?

Never been ripped off through E-Bay before so not sure what the procedure is.....

Shouldn't be a problem to get your money back from paypal. It's there for secure payment and most of the time behind the buyer, not the seller.

You have to wait ten days before you can open up a dispute.

Never had any luck with paypal's dispute, i bought a watch for my wife which was listed as brand new, but when it came it was obviously a very worn second hand watch!

I filed a dispute, eventually paypal asked me to get an independent proffesional assesment of the watch (which cost me £5) sent that in.... waited ..... waited ......

Two months later i get a partial refund of £20 of £80, minus the £5 !!!

The thing that annoyed me the most was after i bought the watch the seller had been left three other negative feedbacks for not recieving their items, but still i never got my money back Evil or Very Mad

That was 2 years ago, so i hope for your sake that they have changed their ways!

As long as you paid through paypal you have a fighting chance to get your money back. Just make sure you do NOT close the dispute no matter what the seller tells you until you either have the item or money back. Once you close a dispute through paypal thats it! You can't reopen it. Allot of selling scammers will tell you all that you wish to hear and ask you to end the dispute prematurely so watch out for this.

Now paypal doesn't have the best track record of settling disputes. http://www.paypalsucks.com/forums/ Theres some frightening horror stories on that site and I really hope you don't go through such.

Finally got it. Everything is working.

New bitch - DVI cables are pain in the motherfucking ass to keep swapping back and forth. Jesus fuck christ who made them such a pain in the fuck ass to line up and screw in and shit. I mean FUCK. I broke a fucking sweat - took me 5 minutes to line the fucker up right.

The adapter I THOUGHT I could use to hook my DVI videocard cable into the VGA port on my monitor turned out to be backwards and not work - the ends were reversed Sad

Important question - the DVI cable I have is an 18 pin (2 groups of 9) +1 (the solid line thing).
Will it work if I use a 24 pin + 5 adapter?

Look here : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812186040

I need to know before I go to bed so I can one day ship it and get it before the weekend.
