It's definately not a beta. The Build date on the .exe (from the Console) is Oct 6th. The only reason I assumed it was beta is because of all of the bugs, missing files, poor performance. All common things in betas.

You have to talk to her (I assume you're talking about Heather?), and EITHER let her drink some of your blood (this worked w/ a Tremere character, but not a Nasfaratu... as I'm sure you can imagine why. She just screamed and passed back out.) OR... alternatively, you tell her you'll get a doctor then go to the next room and get the rasta-man doctor. He won't help you if you're a Nasfaratu BTW.
Anyway, that's what you have to do. It may not work if you're not of the proper clan. I know it works w/ the Tremere clan.
As for the controlled substances and there not being any drugs in it: ... there isn't. If you check your email back at your Haven, you will get an email from LaCroix saying some Werewolf blood was stolen (I think stolen) and is being held in that controlled substances cabinet. You open the cabinet via the terminal in the CIS room. It will have the WW blood bag in it. Bring the WW blood back to your apartment building and put it in your mailbox to send it to LaCroix. He should send you $200. sooner or later so check your mailbox after a while. He'll also send you an email after a little while thanking you.
For the freezer code, you need to KILL the doctor downstairs (the bottom floor of the clinic, the Blood Bank floor) and he will drop a note that tells you the code to the freezer. You need the code to solve the "Lily" quest. You should be able to get it figured out from there; it's not hard.

Hm, I would like to know why this game isn't shown on NForce since the site was down?
No nuke - just not there!? Did they loose the update in the "crash" and forgot to enter the nfo again after the site was back up?

Anyone know if there's a way to take off the censorship, or to get the US version (the cloneCD is censored UK version). Unfortunately, the version I have pre-ordered is UK as well.

I'm stuck at the warehouse. Wherever i go, and whether or not I use stealth i'm eventually forced to confront all the guards and they take me out too easikly.
any tips?

How do you know the Uk version is censored?
Are you sure? That sucks if it's true.
edit: I hear it's just missing the decapitation in the intro, so thats not too bad as long as the rest of the game is untouched.

Z0Bman, to get past the electricity party, you have to shoot and blow up the two electrical things overhead in that room. Then the door will open to the next area.
dyn IP addys, subnet & mac spoofs, email routing, and if all else fails, wi-fi. banned? lol, its more like brb. =p

Even people with the legal version of the game have this crash, furthermore cops don't pop up at random (only if you do criminal things), there is no criminal rating, but there is a masquerade rating and I've only broken it two times, and people run away screaming from you if you are a Nosferatu... and that's the idea.
And on the point of copy protection. Troika games made it pretty clear on some boards that all things related to release, copy protection, multiplayer, modding, expansions, patches, and about everything else is done by Activision. The only thing Troika game did was make a game.

LOL Cevesa. I don't know if you're totally naked, in your inventory, it should show you that you're wearing light clothing (which is equal to no armor in every other RPG I've ever played). During the rest of the game, you'll find (or can buy some places) better clothing that will protect you better. Light clothing for a female Nosferatu consists of a bra, jeans, and boots.
SPOILER:
If you give Heather your blood in the clinic, she'll find you later (downtown I think). Go through the dialog until you tell her to wait for you at your Haven. After you hunt down Bach, the Vamp Hunter, she'll meet you in downtown near LaCroix building and she'll say she has something for you. It's leather clothing (can't remember if it's regular leather or heavy leather).
And not spoil anything... but don't get too attached to Heather.

But still you cant finish this game. It crashes after temple of leopold quest, after escaping in the boat. Can anyone confirm that he/she was able to finish it?

Well I know people can complete the retail version, not sure about the warez.

This is a really nice game, and enjoy it very much but a good patch won't hurt. There are alot of stupid bugs, it's like they didn't beta test the game.
I hope to see a patch soon!

I finshed it... but only by enabling the console and loading the next map. =\ Pretty lame IMO, but if the whole game was free of bugs (this one being the worst), it'd be a wonderful game.

How?Using 'map dt_hub_1' spawns you in town without equipment and stats. Do I have to edit everything later with give itemname for every item i had and giftxp for stats? And how about ingame variables(set upon completion on every quest) are they transfered?

Freedom is one of it's main strengths, it even has multiple endings, and the characters also remember how you treated them.

I wonder if it's true that the retail version and the "acquired" version is different... I hope not, or I may have to buy it... The game seems a tad laggy on the "acquired" version, and I did notice some clipping, as well as the memory leak. But if I buy Vampire, then I don't know if I'll be able to buy WoW. Hmm... I hope there's a patch that'll fix all these bugs and glitches.
