Taegukgi is probably the best war movie I've ever seen.

the ruins 5.5/10

wanted to give it a 6, but i just cant... plants are NOT scary... sure it'd be a freaky situation to be in, but its a fucking PLANT goddammit..

was nothing special, yet i didnt hate it... ive seen much worse... i guess im just a sucker for low budget 'unknowable' horror films like this, where its just a few characters against an unknown enemy, where the production doesnt necessarily feel cheap, but rather raw and unplolished... gives it a kinda surrealistic and odd feeling that i quite like... some of it was pretty nasty - self mutilation, the leg choppy offy bit, etc... some of it was just damn stupid though... a sentient plant that mimics a cellphone? come on...

i think i got it sussed though... the ruins were actually a secret mayan research and development lab... they created the ultimate home protection system, but it grew out of control, developed an intellect, and ate all the mayans, and thats why they died out.

Nice spoiler.... .... ...

What is frontier and did any of you guys watch it?

Did you guys like inside? I think it's to hard for my taste. I don't like tasteless movies, if they're not funny(braindead is perfect for example, while I hate saw 4)

I think it showed a very realistic approach to the whole affair and ended up quite sinister than the book.

i didnt mind the ending too the mist.. what i hated was how it was executed. it was supposed to be a shattering heart ripping ending... totally blown by janes cheesy as fuck delivery, and looked like a saturday morning cartoon bad guy, cursing the hero for ruining his evil plans!

Juno - 8/10 - Absolutely surprising, didnt expected such a clever script and such good performances, especially Ellen Page.

The Onion Movie 9.5/10, the best comedy I've seen since Hot Fuzz
After an endless wave of bad movies (Meet the Spartans being the worst one) I thought real satire was dead, this movie gave me hope again

Ya its full of dark humour. Its just a shame that no teen ager alive really has that much charisma and brains yet stays sociable and gets layed.

The movie was far fetched but I didnt really care and enjoyed it anyway.

The Happening 1/10. Worst movie so far this year. The acting from Walhberg was incredible bad. And the child was probably worse than Jake Lloyd in the Phantom Menace.

Uwe Boll makes better movies than this.

everything i hear about that movie, makes me want to watch it more and more!! no seriously, i definately wanna see how bad his acting is, and how stupid the story is... cant wait for an r5!!

G.P. 506 - 7/10
had some bits that werent handled well - a few sequences that were there to drive forward the story, but didnt really make sense... but i enjoyed it, it was tense and the story was quite interesting, though in the end i felt i wanted a bit more out of it... maybe when i watch it through a second time, ill pick up stuff i missed the first time, and ill enjoy it even more, but as it stands it was a pretty cool film.
