Cool and different "European" style gangster movie. Really good acting from Farrell, never really liked him (Alexander etc), but in this he is great!.

Yea farrel was really good... he can do dead pan comedy so well it seems... he should do more!

I just watched "In Bruges" last night because of all the rave reviews in this post.

What an excellent movie. 9.5/10! I never liked Farrell either, but he was fantastic.

Also, I watched "Revolver" a few nights back - 8.5/10. That was a damn good movie, too. Probably Guy Ritchie's best.

Iron Man 8/10

Very enjoyable action movie. Very cool and stylish, and Downey Jr. does a great job.

The Incredible Hulk 8/10. It was very enjoyable. I think Vodka your kind of out of tune for attacking someone cause they though the movie was good. Now that makes 2 of us and im from Canada. Please bash me with your ignorance. Anyway there were variations of the comic book. The Hulk, The Incredible Hulk so I take both Hulk movies in the same light. Same Story told in 2 different styles. And FYI I still love the old movie.

I went to see The Hulk this weekend. I still wasn't crazy about it. BUT, I thought it was MUCH better than the 1st one. My main reason is that they made it more like the old TV series (the opening scene) which brought back fond memories from my childhood.
Looked pretty much like the comic to me and I thought the actors played their parts well.
I thought Ed Norton did a fine job as Bruce Banner. My wife liked it. . . and she isn't from America. She is from Vodka's neck of the world.
I'd give it about a 6.5 out of 10. The old movie a 5 out of 10.
Iron Man was much much better imho. I did like the crossover bit though and hope they do that.
The Hellboy 2 trailor looked freaking incredible.

In Bruges. 8/10, what a nice movie! Should have watched it without the damn micdub. Well, but still very good! Brendan Gleeson was perfect, even better than Farell and Fiennes! And I liked that the director was not afraid to show the brutal and bloody scenes. Nothing was overdone and infact, I started liking bruges Very Happy

In Bruges - 9/10 - Great slow paced film
Be Kind, Rewind 5/10 - Cheesy and generally not funny (except the fence part & the negative shots) - Jack black is an annoying cunt.
Street Kings - 7/10 - Nice
Semi Pro - 6.5/10 - Ok.

i have nothing to watch atm, any recommendations?

I heard it got's something to do with 9/11 but I can't get what, the trailer only shows a group of guys in despair cause their newly created company is going down the drain, but I fail to see what this has anything to do with the attacks. besides the title says it all, this movie is a portrait of Manhattan in August 2001, not September. Confused

"August centers on two brothers fighting to keep their start-up company afloat on Wall Street during August 2001, a month before the 9/11 terrorist attacks." Razz Im guessing they're willing to do anything to keep their business afloat Razz I dunno sounds sorta interesting. I'll check it out when I get home.

Sunshine - 6/10
It was great until the last 1/3rd or so - then it started getting really goofy and lost all credibility.

Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - 8/10
I loved the dark, morose visual style. A fitting ending. I recommend it (Yes it's kind of a musical but its based upon murder and angst - so that makes it not gay Very Happy )

Agree on that, would have been a lot better if it wasn't the most predictable movie recently.
