I remember my friend telling me the first beta (of v3) was beyond shit. I take it it's become a lot better since then?

I was hoping they would implement a better way to search/view the cache but the changes made are more security oriented.

If you’ve already had your hands on Firefox 3.0 RC3 then the final build isn’t going to bring with it any surprises - in fact, it seems that the RC3 and the final build are identical - the MD5 hashes match up exactly

Doing the same, although 9.5 needs work.

I used Beta of 3 for a while before. I tried to buy something online but couldnt log in to secure pay sites because of some certificate / cookie error. If they fixed that then I would gladly use FF3.

I didn't get that problem: settings, bookmarks, saved forms & passwords were preserved during the update. Confused

What was your original version? FF3 is by far faster than FF2, use half of its memory resources, have improvements here and there and add thousands of bugfixes, etc. The UI is the last of my concerns, there are a lot of backend changes and so far I am satisfied. Smile
