WTF... Suspension of disbelief indeed. Pour alcohol on bullets and you get incendiary bullets? Explosions that rise cars up 8 storeys in the air?

Erm it's just a game. One about monsters and such at that.

There is a fine line between entertaining and plain silly. Just fits badly into a horror game imho.

game sounds clever, central park infested with evil creatures vs petrol on bullets.... dont think the games going for that realistic feel.... which is great, games should be games....

You can play the game with a 360 gamepad.
And the website says is from the pc version, and pcgames.de is a pc only website mainly.

Alone in the Dark: Making of #1

Atari released this first Behind the Scenes video of Alone In The Dark, where a few Eden Studios developers explain with a more or less heavy French accent how difficult and long the prototyping phase of the game was.

I guess this will also come up in the Spore thread once that game is close to release but as been mentioned several developers have started using the online version of SecuROM due to the success seen with Bioshock (Was still cracked but it took a while.)

So far Bioshock, Mass Effect, Alone in the Dark and Spore have been confirmed to use online activation.

It usually works quite well but it still limits the game a bit in terms of accessibility and such as a internet connection will be required to atleast do the initial activation but it might also verify this activation every time the game is started and ofcourse there's other limitations such as a max number of installations allowed.

So the European release of the game is very near right?

I hope that's a Multi 5 game as all all recent games.

The release of this title is on the 20th this month. Smile
(Unsure how long it will be until a "scene" release appears though due to the protection but Mass Effect probably helped as I guess the crackers now have a bit more experience with that security system.)

Seems the game has been released early or something as there's two trainers and a launcher available on GameCopyWorld, couldn't really create those without the actual game. Question

EDIT: Wrong game, didn't know there was a PC version of Alone in the Dark 4.

L0L i dont think its worth the 60 bucks. I still have to see if its even worth the verbatim +r dl disc Razz. Pooring alcohol on bullets to get incendiary bullets seems a bit far fetched to me . Rolling Eyes

Atleast we PC gamers will know how the game is from the discussion that should start soon in the console section.

EDIT: Damn, that's twice I'm fooled by Alone in the Dark 4.
(Wonder what's up with releasing files for such a old game now.)
